Because that was exactly what she wanted. As a demon who had Hunted Thousands of Prey, she knew very well how to make a prey's soul more delicious.

This Little Demon before her was undoubtedly a Lesser Little Demon. "Give up. You can't escape! You dared to steal from me, Alanya. Your only fate is to become food in my belly!"

As she chased Roy, Spider Queen Alanya kept roaring incessantly in strange-sounding Demonic Language, telling the fleeing Roy ahead of the miserable death awaiting him, trying to increase the fear in his heart.

Along with her words, Alanya used her tank-like body to crash through the trees along the way, sending them down with thunderous booms and creating an unstoppable Aura.

Like a cat toying with a mouse, she pursued and played with Roy. Even the Spider Demons she had ordered to gather did not completely block Roy's escape route. Instead, they drove him onward like hunting hounds driving prey.

However, she did not know that Roy, who was running away, was not nearly as panicked as she imagined.

The first step of the Body Modification Plan succeeding had not made him completely overconfident. He knew one tail was not enough to make him invincible. So when he had planned to wipe out the Spider Demons, although he had not anticipated a Behind-the-Scenes BOSS like Spider Queen, he had considered what to do if he were surrounded.

Therefore, when he discovered the unexpected enemy Spider Queen Alanya, Roy immediately decided to carry out his planned backup strategy.

After passing through the Spider Demon Territory and reaching a place where he Could Not See webs covering the ground, Roy no longer needed to weave around them. He fixed his eyes on the Southwest Direction and sprinted all the way.

Spider Queen Alanya had not yet noticed anything wrong. She thought this Little Demon was simply fleeing for his life in blind panic.

However, after one chased and the other fled through the forest, Alanya immediately realized something was wrong. The direction this Little Demon was running in seemed to be toward the Lava River!?

That was right! The direction Roy chose was where the Lava River was. When he had entered this underground world from the Hatching Grounds, Roy had looked down upon that river from above, so naturally he remembered its location. There had originally been many dangers on the way from his cave to the Lava River, but while being hunted down, Roy could no longer worry about such things.

The moment she realized Roy's intentions, Alanya was filled with Wrath.

She did not know what Roy could do by running to the Lava River. What truly angered her was that she realized Roy did not seem to be feeling the fear she had expected.

That feeling was terrible. Her eager anticipation had come to nothing...

"Surround him! Kill him!"

In her Wrath, Alanya no longer intended to play games. Her Soul Fragments were still on this Little Demon. If she truly let him escape, Alanya would regret it to death.

Upon receiving the order, the Spider Demons immediately sped up and closed in on Roy from behind.

Roy noticed the Spider Demons closing in and leaping at him. He watched for the right moment and swung his tail, sending them flying back. His Steel-hard tail, swung with great force, Seriously Injured any Spider Demon it struck. For a time, the Spider Demons found it difficult to approach him.

After all, this was no longer their territory. Without webs, the Spider Demons had no good way to stop Roy from advancing. Roy also constantly changed direction. The Spider Demons' eight Spider Legs posed no obstacle when moving forward or backward, but they were much worse at moving sideways. They were spiders, not crabs...

Alanya also realized that failing to have the Spider Demons surround this Little Demon from the start had been a huge mistake. Now he was becoming difficult to catch, so she simply joined the pursuit herself.

Then Roy landed easily on top of it.

Under his weight, the rock sank slightly. But beneath Roy's nervous gaze, it was not swallowed by the magma. Instead, it slowly rose again.

Alanya, who had chased him to the riverbank, was immediately Stunned by what she saw!
