When Roy was in college, he secretly kept a French Bulldog in his dorm. Those dogs are fun. Although they are small, they are both憨厚 (simple and honest) and brave, and very loyal to people. For that little dog, Roy even went as far as to make a deal with the dorm supervisor... Later, after Roy graduated, he had to reluctantly give it to a friend to raise due to job hunting needs. However, he would still visit the little guy from time to time. Every time he visited, no matter how much time had passed, the little guy could still recognize Roy, its original owner, which made Roy very emotional.
So, when Roy thinks of pets now, the first thing that comes to mind is dogs...
But this time, Roy couldn't just draw a simple dog. Don't forget, this is the Abyss! The aesthetic standards here are completely different. A cute little French Bulldog like that would be courting death in this world. Here, only a fierce appearance means you won't be bullied. Although Roy wants a pet to accompany him, he can't let the pet be killed by demonic creatures and demons as soon as it's born.
Therefore, the dog Roy drew is a fierce-looking Three-Headed Hellhound!
In Greek mythology, the Hellhound Cerberus guards the gates of the underworld for Hades. Roy doesn't know if there are similar demonic creatures in this Abyss, but that doesn't stop Roy from calling it that.
Logically speaking, using Gabriel's soul fragment to create a Holy Light Being would be the best. But there's the same problem as before: this is the Abyss! A Holy Light Being appearing here would be like an indiscriminate attack, instantly provoking all the demons in the entire Abyss. So, even if the attributes are not suitable, Roy can only choose a creature like the Hellhound whose style fits.
The Hellhound he drew has incredibly strong limbs and claws. Its skin is covered with obsidian-like cuticles to enhance its defense. Its tail is designed as a viper head. The three heads don't look much like a dog; they are more like wolves, with sharp teeth filling their mouths.
Creating a creature isn't just about drawing it. It also requires 3D modeling and synthesizing its basic action poses, such as running, walking, and biting. It's quite complex. Roy patiently stayed in his nest for seven full days before completing all the pattern materials.
Next came the definition of the Three-Headed Hellhound's various attributes. For personality, Roy defined it as: loyal, fierce, obedient, curious, enthusiastic, and intelligent. This was basically the personality of the French Bulldog Roy used to own. As for its physical data, Roy set its height at about 1.3 to 1.4 meters, roughly the size of a calf. For weight, strength, and speed, he left it to the system to adapt. However, Roy specifically set a common skill for all three of the Hellhound's heads: Breath!
All three heads can perform breath attacks, but each is different. From left to right, they are Flame Breath, Frost Breath, and Poison Breath. This way, this three-headed dog can become Roy's combat helper in the future.
Since Roy has Demon Wings and can fly, he was worried that the Hellhound might not keep up if he needed to transfer locations later. So, he simply drew a pair of Demon Wings with the attribute defined as [Flying] and placed them on its back...
This is essentially a modified version of the Three-Headed Hellhound. After all these definitions were completed, Roy thought for a moment and added another defined attribute: Growable!
This was specifically added to prevent its strength from being fixed and restricted by the system in the future. After a long list of attribute settings, Roy felt a bit uncertain. He didn't know if one Sacred Soul Fragment would be enough to create this Hellhound, as he estimated it to be quite strong. Although the soul fragment came from Archangel Gabriel, it was only a tiny piece. The fragment was precious for its quality, not its Soul Power Value...
Whatever, he'll try it first. If it doesn't work, he'll modify it again.
After selecting to save all materials, the System Interface changed. All the patterns Roy had drawn for the Hellhound were instantly drawn together, forming a vortex-like orb of light. This anomaly had never appeared before when Roy used the system for customization. Moreover, the system rarely gave an immediate Completion Judgment. Instead, a prompt tone sounded: "Generating Customization... 1%... 2%..."
The progress completion was very slow. Listening to the progress prompt, Roy couldn't help but feel nervous.
As time passed, the progress gradually reached 80%. Roy wasn't sure if it was an illusion, but he found that the slower it got towards the end.
This might be a sign that it couldn't be completed. Roy thought this and was already prepared to modify it again.
However, to Roy's surprise, although it was slow, it finally completed. When the orb of light in the system interface disappeared, Roy suddenly felt something in his hands. He looked down and found a small black meatball in his palms.
It was a Hellhound... puppy!?
Roy: "..."
Holy Shit! Where did my Hellhound Cerberus go!? Why did I get a puppy!?
As Roy stared in bewilderment, the eyes on the three heads of the Hellhound puppy in his palm slowly opened. It struggled to support its chubby body and stood up with some effort in Roy's hands. It looked around cautiously, finally discovering Roy's presence. Its three heads all lifted up, looking at Roy.
A glance confirmed: this is Master! After clearly seeing Roy's appearance, the small tail behind the Hellhound puppy immediately began to wag. All three pairs of dog eyes revealed the same joyful expression.
Then, its three small heads spoke to Roy respectively.
Left: "Awooo!"
Middle: "Whimper!"
Right: "Woof!"
Roy: "..."
Roy, who was over two meters tall, sat cross-legged on the ground, holding a Hellhound Puppy about ten centimeters long in his hands. He didn't know how to respond to this creature sticking out its tongue to greet him. The scene was rather comical.
He couldn't figure out why the mighty Hellhound he had designed had turned into such a chubby little dog. But looking at the meaty Little Demon Wings on its back, it was clearly the one he had customized!
Where had things gone wrong?
Roy opened the System Panel and finally discovered an image of a Hellhound Puppy at the foot of his Homepage Portrait. Furthermore, this Hellhound Puppy, just like him, had its own Attribute Panel.

Looking at the Hellhound's talent description, Roy seemed to understand what was happening. It seemed the reason the Hellhound appeared in the form of a puppy was likely due to the Growable attribute he had defined.
Perhaps because the soul fragment was insufficient to manifest the original Hellhound, Roy had set a growable defined attribute for the Hellhound. This led the system to compromise and manifest the Hellhound in its juvenile form. As it grew, it would gradually approach the image and attributes Roy had set.
After understanding this, Roy finally felt relieved. It was good that it had manifested. Anyway, his demonic life was long, and he had plenty of time to wait for it to grow.
Carefully extending his fingers, Roy rubbed the Hellhound Puppy's head. The Hellhound Puppy was not afraid of Roy's sharp nails. Its three heads vied with each other to nuzzle Roy's fingers in turns, cooperating quite well.
Seeing the little guy's dependent demeanor, Roy couldn't help but feel happy. As expected, his previous choice was the right one.
Sensing his Master's joyful mood, the Hellhound Puppy jumped twice in his palm and let out another howl.
"Awo!" "Woo!" "Woof!"
Speaking of which, where did these sounds come from? Roy listened with a strange expression. He remembered that he hadn't set any sounds for the Hellhound Puppy. Why did the three sounds, when combined, sound so much like a Husky's howl?
He felt he should give this little guy a name. Roy thought for a moment, looked at its chubby body, and instantly made a decision.
"From now on, your name is Fat Tiger! Remember, from now on, you bully others, and no one can bully you, understand!"
