Although Sargeras was puzzled by the combat power of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he said nothing. In his view, having help was certainly better than having none.

Sargeras still had an army of servants under his command, and even his apprentice Aggramar could answer his summons. But in this Void World, the environment restricted Sargeras's abilities, leaving him unable to summon anyone at all. Now, seeing that Roy had actually found him a group of helpers—and that, judging by his words, they had come from another world—Sargeras's estimation of Roy rose considerably once more.

During the few seconds Sargeras spent thinking, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse had also finished assessing their surroundings. The existence of the Void Sun left them all utterly astonished.

To be honest, in the Darksiders World, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were still fighting against both Heaven and Hell. Although the corruption and degeneration of the Void had already appeared, it could not yet be considered the greatest threat. When War had given Roy the rune stone used for summoning, it had merely been a precaution for a rainy day—a vigilance they should have had.

In truth, this had left the other Horsemen somewhat dissatisfied with War. In their eyes, perhaps War had been deceived by the demon Osiris, who had used a lie to turn the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse into his hired thugs.

But the four of them were siblings, and they valued oaths and trust deeply. Since War had made that promise, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse did not mind helping him fulfill it.

What they had not expected was that, during this final summoning, the demon Osiris would truly lead them to the source of corruption and degeneration!
