When he arrived at this glowing place, Roy was astonished to discover that it was... a small patch of land!

This small patch of land covered roughly a hundred thousand square meters and formed a remarkably perfect circle. Yet beneath the ground, there was no visible foundation at all; it seemed to consist of nothing more than a thin layer of turf.

Upon this turf lay not only a lush grassland, but also a small forest farther away. The forest was filled with tall, leafy trees, but strangely enough, no roots extending from the trees could be seen beneath the turf.

How should he put it? It felt as though some force had scooped up an entire patch of grassland and forest and placed it here. Yet these plants, deprived of their root systems, were flourishing with extraordinary vigor!

Some gentle little animals moved about within the forest. Deer wandering among the trees grazed on the turf, but whenever they ate away a patch, fresh grass grew back almost immediately. Squirrels leaping among the branches nimbly picked pinecones, and those too were restored not long after being picked.

And no matter how these little animals ate, they seemed incapable of growing up. At least, during Roy's observations, he had not seen any large animals appear, so the only explanation was that they could not grow.

Yet none of that was the most outrageous part. The truly absurd thing was the sunlight spilling across the forest and grassland!
