• Xia Zhi dodged the Phantom Wolf’s pounce and killed it with a single saber strike, then claimed its hide as his reward.
• Qin Feng praised Xia Zhi’s combat ability, and the Golden Spear Squad completed its mission and returned safely to the Military rest point.

The Golden Spear Squad spotted a Heavy Armor Bull leading a large herd, and Liu Yan shot it from a rooftop before the team set out to claim its corpse. The squad descended to confront the remaining monsters.

• Xu Kui, Xia Zhi, and Captain Qin Feng spotted a herd of nearly four hundred bulls led by a Heavy Armor Bull.
• Qin Feng called Liu Yan over, and she loaded her sniper rifle with armor-piercing rounds.

The two groups were closing in on their next moves, and the chapter ended as Xia Zhi and the squad left the rooftop to attack the Tiger Cat.

• Liu Yan and Xu Kui held back monsters so Qin Feng and Xia Zhi could break through the pack, but Xu Kui was badly wounded by an Ironhide Bull.
• Xia Zhi used Mental Power to control twelve throwing knives, killing dozens of monsters and giving the squad a chance to escape together.

Uncle Eagle’s squad entered City No. 012 to search for Xia Zhi as the Golden Spear Squad sheltered inside an apartment building. Meanwhile, an Iron Feather Eagle witnessed a giant bear give birth in a stadium.

• Uncle Eagle sent Xiao Yu to investigate the destruction in City No. 012, then led his squad into the city.
• Qin Feng and Liu Yan treated Xu Kui’s injured arm after Xia Zhi helped the squad escape the monster pack.

• After hearing another roar, Xia Zhi convinced Qin Feng that he could escape danger and left the squad to investigate.
• Xia Zhi traveled north, avoiding monster packs and harvesting materials from Beast General level monsters along the way.
• Xia Zhi reached a tall residential building near the stadium and used Mental Power to enter a locked apartment.
• From the balcony, Xia Zhi saw extensive destruction near the stadium and a black giant wolf leading nearly a thousand monsters into a fight with another Lord level monster.

The Shadow Moon Demon Wolf ambushed the weakened Earth Bear Lord, but the Bear Lord killed it and then fell to a human attack. Uncle Eagle killed Gao Xiang and the Zhang brothers to claim the monsters’ remains, but Xia Zhi arrived and killed Uncle Eagle, leaving the valuable spoils at the stadium.

• The Shadow Moon Demon Wolf ate the Flame Burst Bear’s heart and charged into the stadium, hoping to kill the Earth Bear Lord and claim its territory.
• The Earth Bear Lord used Berserk to kill the Shadow Moon Demon Wolf, then weakened and crawled toward its den.
• Uncle Eagle led the warriors in an ambush; the Earth Bear Lord killed Gao Xiang and both Zhang brothers while protecting its cub.

Xia Zhi reached the rendezvous with the Golden Spear Squad after escaping the Earth Bear Lord’s territory with valuable monster materials and a living bear cub. The squad agreed to share the haul and set out for the Military rest point the next morning.

• Qin Feng received Xia Zhi’s call asking the Golden Spear Squad to hurry to his coordinates, and the squad left its hideout to support him.
• Xia Zhi reached the abandoned factory exhausted, carrying a bundle of valuable materials he had taken from the Bear Lord’s nest.

• Qin Feng, Xia Zhi, Liu Yan, and Xu Kui returned to the Rest Stop Base with full backpacks and injuries after surviving a monster pack riot.
• The squad rested, traveled by train to Jiangnan Base City, and Xia Zhi called his grandfather, Xia Dahai, to say he would be home late.
