Skye felt that if she ranked all the crises she had experienced since joining S.H.I.E.L.D. by severity, this incident would surely break every previous record.

A blue-faced alien had descended from the sky, wielding a massive axe like Hercules, declaring that she was a humanoid weapon belonging to an alien empire and preparing to seize her, drag her onto a spaceship, and take her back to some alien world.

Then came the most interesting part. At this very moment, the only person standing between her and this alien powerhouse, the only one who could stop him from abducting her, was the Black Knight—the mysterious terrorist ranked near the top of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most-wanted list.

"Hand this human female over to me, and I will return to Kree immediately," the Kree said. "There is no need for us to come into conflict, Earth warrior."

Well, that was it. I'm done for. Skye thought. If she were the Black Knight, she could not think of a single reason to stand up for her. Now she could only hope the guest rooms on the alien spaceship were spacious and comfortable, so her first trip through space would at least leave a decent impression.

But this "terrorist" gentleman's answer caught her by surprise.

"No." His answer was firm and decisive. He did not even turn to look at her.

"Hm?" Even the Kree seemed puzzled. "Why?"

"Simple. Because she is from Earth. Whether she is human or Inhuman makes no difference. And you are a blue-skinned alien." Michael answered calmly. "Besides, if I let you take her back, the Kree Empire will learn that their ancient experiments on Earth did not fail. What would you do then? Send an army to Earth, use humans as guinea pigs, and restart this project to mass-produce superpowered killers
