Scare You All Limp with One Shout

Just imagine what an ordinary human would become after drinking Pit Lord blood with a seventy percent concentration.

Their body would grow taller and stronger, every ability would surpass human limits, green Fel-corrupted markings would cover their body, their nails and teeth would become beastlike, and sharp bone spikes would grow from their forearms, elbows, knees, and spine. All of that was predictable.

After all, Rome, one of Howitzer's men, had become like that after drinking blood at fifty percent purity. After being enhanced with seventy percent purity, aside from growing another ten centimeters taller, there was no obvious difference in appearance.

As for the internal differences, their strength would be even greater, since the purity was twenty percentage points higher. But the price would also be greater. Their lifespan would shrink to about a month, truly turning them into disposable goods.

Their temperament would no longer be merely irritable and violent. They would become even more brutal and cruel than genuine Pit Lords. Pit Lords might be crude and hot-tempered, but they still retained some reason and could be communicated with. These people, however, had all their reason burned away by the high-concentration Fel energy, leaving only pure desires for slaughter and destruction.

There was also this: if a Sorcerer, Demon Hunter, Hunter, or someone of a similar profession stood before them, they would discover that these people's race had changed from humanoids into demons.

Once Fel energy was infused to a certain degree, theoretically any creature—especially flesh-and-blood creatures—would transform into a demon. The Eredar of Argus had already become demons through and through, while professions that wielded Fel energy, such as Sorcerers and Demon Hunters, could temporarily transform into demonic forms as well.

Ordinary humans on Earth were far inferior to the orcs of Draenor in terms of physical constitution. So after drinking Pit Lord blood with a purity as high as seventy percent, their race changed without surprise, transforming from humans into demons.

But this transformation was a good thing for Evenson. Demon Enslavement was part of a Sorcerer's job. Through specific spells and rituals, Sorcerers could enslave demons that were not too powerful.

When Evenson arrived in the Afghan desert through a Demon Array, he easily took down a five-man search team from the terrorist organization that had kidnapped Tony Stark. There was nothing surprising about the process.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" the search team's captain shouted in Pashto. There was a trace of fear in his voice, because Evenson had appeared far too suddenly. And that casual, at-home outfit of his had no business appearing on someone in the middle of the desert. It was also before dawn, when the temperature in the desert was probably already around freezing.

"I can't understand what you're saying." Evenson was no linguist, nor had he learned Pashto. "But I can probably guess what you mean."

"I am your new Lord. I will grant you great power, and in exchange, you will do something for me." Evenson said those embarrassingly melodramatic words in English.

"This guy came out of nowhere. Why don't we just kill him?" the captain said to his companions in Pashto. They could not understand English either, but since he was not the Tony Stark they were looking for, had stumbled upon their movements, and was an English-speaking bastard to boot, it would be better to kill him and be done with it.

"Stand still. Don't move." The captain raised his AK-47 and aimed it at Evenson.

"Heh, heh. No manners at all. Fear Howl." Evenson rolled his eyes, opened his mouth, and let out a soundless howl. It was as if a faint breeze had risen around him, spreading outward from him and lightly stirring the sand on the ground as it enveloped everyone present.

The search team members, including the captain aiming his gun, froze in place. Then their faces twisted with fear, followed by terrified screams. Trembling all over, they collapsed to the ground, losing control of their bowels and bladder and foaming at the mouth.

Fear Howl was originally a large-scale Fear Spell. It used a Sorcerer's unique Mental Power to induce panic in enemies and send them fleeing, creating an opportunity for the Sorcerer to attack or escape. Of course, against those with especially strong wills, the spell could only make them hesitate briefly.

Unfortunately, ordinary humans not only had weak bodies, but their Mental Power was even more fragile. After being hit by Fear Howl, they could not even flee in panic, much less resist. They were scared rigid on the spot.

Still, it was better that they collapsed right there. It saved Evenson from having to catch them one by one later. He took out five bottles of Pit Lord blood and was about to force it down their throats, but when he saw their incontinent, foaming state, he stopped. "Damn, that's disgusting."

Evenson was thoroughly disgusted by the mess spraying from the three holes above and below on these guys. He wanted to go over and feed them the demon blood, but the thought made him sick. Just as he was caught in a dilemma, an idea struck him.

With a snap, Evenson clicked his fingers. A mysterious purple array appeared beneath his feet, and streams of purple light rose from it, gathering above Evenson's head into a cube formed from the same purple radiance.

"Sha~ I~ come from the Void~ there." The casting lasted about two seconds. Then a broad blue creature appeared beside Evenson. It looked somewhat like the genie from Aladdin's Magic Lamp. Instead of legs and feet, it had a mass of shadowy smoke. Its broad upper body had two thick arms, each wearing a large bracelet that shimmered with Magic runes. It had no nose, only a mouth and eyes, its eyes like two constantly flickering green fluorescent lamps.

"Dumen, go pry their mouths open. Be gentle—don't crush their heads." This creature was Dumen the Voidwalker. The fat man's appearance was merely a disguise; this was their true form.

Hearing Evenson's command, Dumen replied, "I come from the Void there." He seemed to know only that one sentence, but his hands moved quickly enough. He floated over to one of the search team members, grabbed the man by the jaw with one hand, and lifted him up.

"Hiss... That sounds painful." Evenson clearly heard a crack from beside him and instinctively rubbed his own jaw. Dumen seemed to have directly dislocated the man's jaw.

Evenson took a bottle of demon blood and poured the whole thing down the man's throat. Then Dumen tossed him back onto the ground. They repeated the process, and Evenson and Dumen fed demon blood to the other four men as well before standing aside to wait for the enhancement to finish.

"Demons? What an unexpected delight. This makes things much easier." Evenson was delighted when he saw that, after struggling for a while, they had actually transformed into demons. He immediately used the Sorcerer spell Demon Enslavement.

How could demons that had only just transformed and possessed no reason at all resist a Sorcerer's spell? Besides, Evenson's command was exactly what they desired most in their hearts.

"Destroy all living things, destroy everything!!!"

The pressure was really getting to him. Could he actually manage four updates?
