"Kill two birds with one stone?" Watching Evenson and the Eredar Twins exchange smug looks, Klayya was a little bewildered.

After everything that had just happened, Klayya roughly understood that Evenson was gathering strength and forging powerful warriors loyal to himself. But now, it seemed he had other intentions as well. She asked, "What exactly are you planning? You can tell me now, can't you?"

Evenson nodded. Since everything had already been laid bare, there was no need to keep what he had been plotting from Klayya any longer. "There's a principle that needs no explanation: warriors belong on the battlefield. I'm preparing to fight a preliminary battle."

"A preliminary battle?" Klayya frowned and asked uncertainly, "You're planning to make the first move?"

"Strike first, or be controlled by those who do." Evenson smiled. "This battle will secure important capital for our victory. It will also let our newly trained warriors see what kind of enemy we're truly going to face."

"But I... don't think that's a good idea." Klayya's eyes shifted as if she were worried. "Wouldn't attacking rashly like this draw the enemy's attention?"

Klayya felt that if the enemy truly was as powerful as Evenson had described, they should first build up their strength in secret and make every preparation for war. At the same time, they should hide themselves as thoroughly as possible and avoid being discovered. If they were lucky, perhaps they could even escape.

Even if they were unlucky and got discovered, they should delay the time of direct confrontation for as long as possible, using that period to expand their strength as much as they could. Only then would they stand a better chance of winning.
