"Why haven't they made a move yet?" Klayya truly could not understand.

The second-in-command overseeing the Internal Affairs troops had already defected, and the general commanding the artillery had also switched sides. If they were lucky, they would not even need to fight this battle. As long as the two of them rallied a few more people, made their stance clear, and forced the issue together, the Fel Scar Rift could declare an uprising!

It was perfectly normal for Klayya to think that way. That tactic might actually have worked in a human army, but how could she know that the Burning Legion was vastly different from humans?

"It's not time yet." Evenson shook his head and said to Klayya, "Although Hailmondas is stupid and unpopular, I have to admit that this Pit Lord is extremely powerful. Agatha is not his match. As for Gernos... he has a good head on his shoulders, but his individual strength is rather lacking."

Klayya nodded, half-understanding. In other words, Hailmondas had become the lord of the Fel Scar Rift not because he had many supporters, but because he himself was overwhelmingly powerful and could overpower everyone else.

"However..." Evenson suddenly gave a sinister smile. "Although I am not Hailmondas's match myself, I already have a trump card to deal with him."

"A trump card?" Klayya's eyes shifted as she immediately looked toward the Eredar Twins. She had personally witnessed the strength of these two female demons. Without using the Eye of Agamotto, even the Sorcerer Supreme could not restrain them. She had therefore assumed that Evenson's trump card was them.

"Don't look at us." To her surprise, the Eredar Twins repeatedly waved their hands. Saloras said helplessly, "We will not be taking part in this battle."
