Mother's Plan

Asgard's dungeon was unnaturally quiet. Some time ago, the Curse Warrior had released nearly every prisoner here in order to create chaos.

After getting out, they had taken advantage of the Dark Elves' invasion to wreak havoc throughout Asgard. In their eyes, even the Golden Palace had been breached, so Asgard's end had surely come. They pillaged, murdered, and burned without restraint. Unfortunately for them, the Dark Elves had come quickly and left just as quickly.

While the Dark Elves were around, no one had time to deal with those bandits. But after Malekith led his forces away, the rioting prisoners were swiftly suppressed by the counterinsurgency troops. This time, they were not so lucky. They did not get another chance to return to prison. The better-off ones were executed on the spot, while the unluckiest batch was dragged away to serve as sacrifices for Evenson's spells.

So now, this entire prison was nearly empty. To be precise, it held only one prisoner—a special prisoner, Loki.

Loki was currently in his private cell. Though he maintained his usual elegant posture and habitual wicked smile, he was actually feeling miserable inside, as if he had swallowed a bowl of pure frustration.
