After smashing things up for a while, perhaps because he was tired, or perhaps because there was simply nothing left to smash, Loki finally calmed down. But the cell no longer looked anything like it had before. Every piece of furniture had been shattered, and black footprints covered the walls. It looked as though a max-level Husky had wreaked havoc in it.
Loki no longer retained any of his former elegance either. His hair was disheveled, his clothes had been ripped to tatters by his own hands, and even both shoes had been flung away. Barefoot now, he sat on the floor with his back against the wall in a standard Loki sprawl, his face carrying the expression of someone who had been thoroughly broken.
He simply looked at Thor, not caring in the slightest that his brother was seeing him in such a miserable state. It could be said that Loki had already lost all hope.
When he had learned that he was actually a Frost Giant, he had immediately turned against Odin. In his paranoia, he believed Odin had always been using him, that everyone had been using him.

If things had proceeded according to plan, then once Thor ascended the throne, or when Odin was close to death, they would have ruthlessly killed his biological father, Laufey, and then placed him firmly upon the throne of the Frost Giants.
