The fight aboard Captain America's ship naturally did not escape Peggy Carter's notice. When she saw Melinda pummeling the Winter Soldier, she practically applauded in delight. Evenson casually echoed her from the side. This pleasing spectacle continued until Stephanie appeared.
"That's... Stephanie, right?" Peggy Carter had been the chief instructor of the Demon Heart Warrior Enhancement Program, while Stephanie had led the team, so of course they knew each other. Although Stephanie had changed outfits and put on a mask, how could that possibly fool Peggy Carter's demon eyes?

"You're quite efficient." To his surprise, Peggy Carter was not angry at all. Instead, she smiled. "I only asked you yesterday to deal with the Winter Soldier, and you arranged it today. You're a loyal friend."
"Th-That's right." Hearing that, Evenson hurriedly went along with it. "I've always been a man of my word."
