"Master?!"
Chi Yuan and the others cried out in shock.
Yet none of the Soul Beasts present showed any strange expressions.
They merely stole a glance at Gu Yuena before respectfully knocking their heads against the ground again, still facing Chi Xiu. Every part of them conveyed submission.
Compared to Gu Yuena, they feared the bloodline pressure emanating from Chi Xiu even more.
"Master..."
Gu Yuena slowly approached, her fair jade feet stepping upon the earth. With tears shimmering in her eyes, she softly called out to him, looking utterly pitiful.
The Silver Dragon King had been born from the Dragon God's body, so it was not wrong for Gu Yuena to call Chi Xiu her master.
At last, Chi Yuan could not help approaching his son, though his expression was extremely unnatural.
"L-L-Little Xiu, why... why is she calling you Master too? You've been having quite the wild time behind your old man's back..."
Second Elder could not help asking as well.
"Yes, what exactly is going on? This girl is so beautiful. Is she human?"
Chi Xiu shook his head, his expression grave.
He was not entirely certain of Gu Yuena's attitude toward him. If she still doubted him, things would be dangerous. There was practically no one on the entire continent who could stand against her.
"Dad, leave the forest with Sword Saint Chenxin first. I'll come find you later."
Chi Yuan frowned. "But how can I possibly stop worrying?"
Chi Xiu looked toward Chen Xin and gave him a meaningful glance. Chen Xin understood at once.
"Sect Master Chi, trust Little Xiu. Us staying here won't just be unhelpful—it may even affect how Little Xiu handles this matter."
After saying that, Chen Xin himself froze for a moment. Since when had he placed his hopes of getting out alive on a six-year-old child...
It truly was shameful.
"Fine. Dad will wait for you outside the forest."
At that moment, Ning Rongrong broke free from Chen Xin's grasp, trotted forward, and took Chi Xiu's hand. Her little face was full of concern. "Chi Xiu, we'll be waiting outside for you! If you don't come out, you're dead! I won't let you protect me anymore! I'll... I'll find someone else! That'll make you mad!"
Though her words sounded fierce and overbearing, Chi Xiu felt warmth in his heart. He rubbed Ning Rongrong's head and joked, "Don't worry. I haven't kissed you back yet. How could I possibly not come out?"
"Hmph! Talk after you get out first!"
Ning Rongrong haughtily raised her chin, but before she noticed, Chen Xin had taken her little hand and led her away. She suddenly became reluctant to leave, turning back every few steps in an endearing sight.
Six-year-old Ning Rongrong truly was adorably childish.
Chi Xiu chuckled softly.
The other Soul Beasts had already made it clear that they would not resist him. Now it depended on whether Gu Yuena was pretending or sincere.
Unexpectedly, the moment he turned around, a fragrant breeze swept toward him. The soft and delicate Little Dragon Girl impatiently threw her arms around Chi Xiu, her face blooming with joy.
Though she looked like a young girl, she was surprisingly well-endowed. Through that thin layer of cloth, those formidable weapons crashed straight into Chi Xiu, leaving him utterly dazed.
"Wait! Wait! Don't hold me so tight... I can't take it!"
"Waaah..."
Gu Yuena clung to Chi Xiu and continuously swayed her body, crying like she was acting spoiled. "Na'er doesn't want that! Does Master know how Na'er has endured all these years? Na'er has wanted to become one with Master every moment of every day. Master, please don't abandon Na'er again!"
"Let go first!"
"Alright..."
Gu Yuena sobbed as she released her arms, pale as tender lotus roots. Yet her slender white fingers still reluctantly tugged at Chi Xiu's clothes, as though afraid he would run away.
"So... you now believe that the Dragon God has been resurrected?"
Chi Xiu raised his voice, putting on an imposing air.
Gu Yuena nodded aggrievedly, tears still pooled in her eyes. "Although you appeared in the form of a human martial soul, I can completely sense the purity of Master's bloodline. After all, that is something that cannot be faked."
Chi Xiu nodded. After thinking for a moment, he lightly knocked Gu Yuena on the head again.
"Ow..."
Gu Yuena held her head with both hands, looking wronged.
But Chi Xiu acted as though he had not seen it and continued scolding her. "Didn't you doubt me before? You insisted on making me release it before you would believe me? I'm very angry right now!"
Upon hearing this, the surrounding Soul Beasts immediately buried their heads even deeper, trembling uncontrollably from head to toe, terrified of being implicated.
Gu Yuena glanced around in some difficulty, then coldly ordered Di Tian, "Make these Soul Beasts disperse immediately! Go do whatever they should be doing!"
Then she took Chi Xiu's hand again. "Master, shall I take you to where you can sleep first?"
Chi Xiu was dumbfounded on the spot...
Hey, hey, hey! That wasn't what I meant!
I was just pretending to establish some authority so I could make a quick escape!
Seeing that Chi Xiu stood there speechless, Gu Yuena happily pulled him by the hand and ran toward the center of the Star Dou Great Forest.
Though this girl was a hundred-meter dragon whose strength ranked among the greatest on the continent, after transforming into human form, her little hand felt soft and boneless.
Before long, they arrived by Star Lake.
No one knew what method Gu Yuena used, but with a flash of white light, the two of them appeared in the space beneath Star Lake, leaving Da Ming and Er Ming—who had been sitting by the lake watching the show—completely dumbfounded.
Gu Yuena waved her little hand, and the stone door shut directly.
Chi Xiu looked around, still bewildered. "Why did you bring me here?"
Gu Yuena pressed her lips together and knelt before Chi Xiu with a pitiful expression.
"Na'er knows she was wrong. Before, Na'er actually failed to recognize that you were the Master Na'er had spent so many years trying every possible way to resurrect. It would have been embarrassing up there, so Na'er brought Master down here..."
She cried as she spoke, then suddenly shouted, "Master, please punish Na'er quickly!"
"I..."
I don't dare... Chi Xiu felt like crying but had no tears, utterly at a loss.
Seeing that Chi Xiu did not move for a long time, Gu Yuena somehow produced a dragon whip—a whip made from dragon bones—and handed it to him.
Then, biting her red lips, she turned around. In just a few motions, she removed her outer clothes, exposing her fragrant shoulders, followed by her smooth, fair back, her skin as flawless as jade.
"Master, please punish Na'er..."
This whip appeared specially made, with barbs along it. One lash would probably leave that delicate, tender back a complete mess.
Gu Yuena must have truly trusted Chi Xiu. No matter how much Chi Xiu wanted to establish his authority, he could not bring himself to strike her.
He tossed the whip aside and prepared to help Gu Yuena put her clothes back on. But Gu Yuena turned around in confusion, and the magnificent sight before him immediately bounced into view, causing Chi Xiu's blood to surge.
"Holy shit, don't turn around!"
"Huh? Oh, okay!"
So white—it was burning his eyes... Chi Xiu immediately draped her clothes over her.
"I forgive you. Hurry up and let me out. I still need to return to the human world..."
"But Master, before returning, can you first become one with Na'er?"
Gu Yuena turned around, her violet eyes looking at Chi Xiu expectantly.
Chi Xiu was a little stunned and hesitantly asked, "What do you mean, become one... how exactly would that work...?"
Then, the thing that filled him with despair happened again.
Without a word, Gu Yuena pulled down her shoulder strap again, revealing her fragrant shoulder...
