"They're yours."
The words were spoken lightly, yet they shook them more than the thunderous collapse of the Divine Kingdom.
Soaring Dragon, Crimson Feather, and Idith all froze.
They were no wide-eyed novices. They stood at the very top of the pyramid of billions of players.
Idith was even the new City Lord of Beli City.
But what they were seeing overturned everything they knew.
Godheads.
Countless Demigods could spend their entire lives fighting countless wars without ever glimpsing one.
Now three complete Godheads floated before them.
And they were being given away.
The air in the hall seemed to solidify. Only the three Godheads, glowing with warped light, moved as they silently tempted everyone who saw them.
"Boss..." Soaring Dragon swallowed, his voice dry. "That's taking a joke a little too far."
He could hardly believe it.
Anyone with a brain knew nothing this good came for free.
Especially not Godheads—things that could reshape the balance of power across the world.
"Do I look like I'm joking?" Qin Chuan asked calmly from the seat of honor.
"Guild leader." Crimson Feather took over, his expression grave. His gaze swept across the members of Peak Squad, whose divine radiance was subdued, then returned to the three Godheads. "There's something I'd like to confirm. Are these Godheads meant specifically for us, or for the factions we represent?"
Soaring Dragon and Idith snapped back to themselves and looked at Qin Chuan.
That question was crucial.
If the Godheads were for their factions, the three of them would have to return and go through rounds of discussion, screening, and bargaining before choosing the most suitable people to ascend.
The interests and obligations tangled up in that decision would be enough to give them all splitting headaches.
But if the Godheads were for them personally...
