Qin Chuan put away the newly formed Night of No Light, and with it, the unnerving concept of "nothingness" receded.
He looked at Dies Martin's Divine Power Incarnation.
"How many did you condense?" Qin Chuan asked.
"Exactly three." Dies Martin spread his hands. Three orbs of light, each radiating an uncanny aura, appeared above his palm.
The orbs were not simply masses of energy.
The scenes within them shifted constantly: now a mouth speaking with honeyed deceit, now a pair of eyes concealing a scheme, then countless twisted runes tangling together to form one false loop of logic after another.
They gave off no overwhelming pressure, yet every member of the Peak Squad instinctively recoiled from them.
Whatever these things were, they looked anything but trustworthy.
"Lord of Lies, can anyone even use those?" Dawn's right arm had fully recovered. He shook out his hand and eyed the three orbs with suspicion.
After what had happened, he had developed a fear of Divinity Power from dubious sources.
"These are good stuff." Dies Martin explained with a smile. "I paid a visit to the Dawnlight Theocracy and collected some Fallen Angel remains while I was there. I extracted parts of their Divine Positions and removed every impurity. You have my word."
