There was no earth-shaking boom, only a faint sound as matter was annihilated at the level of law.
An irregular gap appeared where the slashes struck the supposedly indestructible Black Crystal platform. Its edges were smooth, as though that piece of matter had never existed.
"Holy shit!" Water God's eyes nearly popped out. "That's a two-for-one deal! Anyone who fights Dawn from now on is basically getting cut down by two people at once?"
Mirror's face was pale, and she swayed slightly. Dawn caught her and steadied her.
Brother and sister clasped hands. Power flowed between them, swiftly restoring what they had spent.
"It's more than a mirrored attack," Dawn said. "Mirror can change where my attacks land at any moment. She can even fold and teleport them."
That meant Dawn's assassinations would have no blind spots.
He could stab at a target's throat, only for the actual attack to emerge from the shadow behind them—or even from a Space Rift.

"Modification successful. Synergy rating: 'perfect,'" Season Star announced calmly. Her data visor then turned toward Qin Chuan, who had stood to one side protecting everyone from the start.
"Guild leader, they're all done. It's your turn."
Every gaze instantly converged on Qin Chuan.
Water God rubbed his hands together, his face full of anticipation. "Yeah! Guild leader! There are still several Godheads left. Pick the strongest one! Ideally, the kind that doubles your Attack Power the moment you absorb it!"
"The remaining Godheads are junk food full of mixed energies as far as the guild leader is concerned." Season Star dashed Water God's hopes without mercy.
