Water God's arrogant manner finally pushed the Ocean Deity past his limit.
As an Upper God who ruled an entire sea, he had never suffered such humiliation.
"You're dead!"
The Ocean Deity roared and thrust his trident forward.
A spear of highly compressed seawater shot toward Water God on the Divine Throne, threatening to tear through everything in its path.
Pure law power filled the attack, enough to pierce a mountain.
Yet Water God did not move from his seat.
The Tidal Phantom beside him raised its staff in perfect sync.
An identical spear of pressurized water burst from the phantom's staff and struck the incoming attack head-on.
The two terrifying streams collided without a deafening crash. Instead, they annihilated each other at the level of law, turning into white steam that spread through the ruined temple.
The Ocean Deity froze.
He could not tell which of the two identical figures was real.
"A deity's dignity will not be trampled!"
Roaring, he fixed his sights on the figure seated on the Divine Throne, the one that looked more like the original, and attacked again.
This time, his whole body became a streak of blue light. His trident stabbed forward with the force to churn the Deep Sea.
But its tip pierced only a splash of water that fell apart.
"Wrong guess, idiot."
The mocking voice came from behind and to the side of the Ocean Deity.
He spun around. The real Water God stood there, though he had no idea when Water God had arrived. Wisps of cold air rose from the Illusion Tide · Ice Abyss Scepter in Water God's hand.
"Are these cheap illusions all you can use?"
The Ocean Deity felt his Divine Might had been challenged, and rage consumed him.
He drove his trident into the
