The Volcano Cluster in the Northwest Direction looked like scorched earth abandoned by the gods.
The stench of sulfur grew sharper, and scorching air burst from cracks in the ground, warping the space above them into a haze.

Dragon Soaring World muttered the words without slowing. He turned into a streak of light and shot toward the purple-black volcano.
But just as he neared the crater, he stopped dead and hovered in midair.

Judging by the first two Sin Beds, there should have been at least a thousand Elite Demons on guard, their roars shaking the sky.
Instead, apart from the volcano's low rumble, everything was deathly still.

Inside it was not the searing lava he had expected, but a larger, far more intricate Sin Bed.
It had almost fused with the volcano itself. Countless thick tubes of flesh plunged into the rock walls like roots, drawing violent energy from deep within the earth.
Thousands of Elite Sin Demons did stand around the Sin Bed.
But they were motionless as statues. He sensed no life in them, only the lingering power of the Sin of Envy.
