Shattered rock flew everywhere.
Dragon Soaring World struggled out of the deep crater in the volcanic wall. Every bone in his body felt loose, and another mouthful of bloody foam rose in his throat and spilled out.
"Fuck..."
He shook his dizzy head and looked up at the figure hovering in midair, still smiling, without so much as a wrinkle in his clothes. His expression changed completely.
The pain was one thing. What really stung was the humiliation!
He had fought countless battles since making his name. He had faced treacherous, cunning, savage, and bizarre enemies of every kind, but never one this freakish!

"How does it feel?" Kasadin's voice remained gentle, carrying pity from on high. "This is the power you take such pride in. Now that it serves not you but the blade that wounds you, do you feel how small and helpless you are?"
"Small, my ass!" Dragon Soaring World cursed. He forced down the blood churning in his chest, his mind racing.
A head-on clash was out.
That guy's shield was strange as hell. It reflected attacks and amplified them.
He needed another approach.
He took a deep breath and turned the blade of Undying Battle Soul. Instead of swinging it in a furious slash, he aimed it at Kasadin from afar.
Golden-purple Divinity Power gathered at the tip of his blade. Rather than forming a blade beam, it split into dozens of tiny energy arrows.

It was an area skill he rarely used. Its damage against a single target was low, but it made up for that with sheer numbers and broad coverage. It was perfect for clearing out
