The Redscale Crocodile God was every bit as troublesome as the Vengeful Flame Spirit. Unlike the spirit, though, this thing was downright revolting. It wasn't just ugly—its skills turned the stomach, too.
The horsehair worms beneath its scales made Qin Chuan's skin crawl just looking at them.
Water God protested vehemently.
Fortunately, the onslaught of horsehair worms was beginning to subside. Even the Redscale Crocodile God's enormous body couldn't sustain that kind of relentless expenditure.

Water God looked puzzled. "Is that a skill? Why didn't it work?"
"My domain counters recovery effects," Qin Chuan replied.
"I see." Understanding dawned on Water God, followed by admiration. "As expected of the guild leader. You can even suppress a boss like this. Looks like I missed a lot."
That still made Qin Chuan want to laugh.
Who could have guessed that Water God would get trapped in the Southern Yue Region because of a cheap helmet?
Then again, being trapped in Southern Yue was what had let Water God trigger the Crocodile Spirit quest. It had worked out for him
