Season Star traded blasts with the black energy beams through her mech, fine beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

Inside her Mechanical Domain, her processing power and reaction speed increased further, making her a human Superbrain. But the mental assaults had severely undercut that advantage.

"Water God, can your domain block the mental assaults?"

Season Star found a moment to ask.

"No. My water mist can disrupt perception, but it can't stop an attack you can't even see." Water God sounded strained too.

His Water Domain covered a vast area, but it did little against an attack that passed straight through defenses.

"This can't go on."

Song Ling drove her Frost Domain, trying to freeze the black energy beams and ease the pressure.

But the Shiva Phantom attacked too quickly. The ice had barely formed before it shattered.

"Mirror, how are you holding up?" Song Ling asked.

"I'm all right. My domain can deflect some of the mental assault."

Mirror sounded less strained.

She kept creating Spatial Folding Mirrors to redirect the black energy beams.

But the Shiva Phantom's attacks came so thick and fast that even she was gradually struggling to keep up.

"If we can all take it, then let's keep going!"

Season Star's voice was resolute.

"Before we opened our domains, we had to rely on the president. If we still need him afterward, what was the point?"
