"This castle looks pretty imposing. It's a lot better than those rickety piles of bones we ran into before," Water God said, studying the Black Castle as he rubbed his chin.
"Don't let your guard down," Qin Chuan warned. "Any Undead that can build a castle here has to be powerful."
"What's there to be afraid of? There are so many of us. Are we really going to fear one castle?" Sword Master in the Snow said dismissively. "Let's charge in and wipe out every Undead inside!"
"You brute!" Dawn laughed. "Let's scout it out first. Don't rush in blindly."
"Mirror, can you use your spatial abilities to check inside the castle?" Qin Chuan asked.
"I'll try." Mirror nodded and closed her eyes, merging her mental power with the space around her.
A moment later, Mirror opened her eyes, her expression grave. "There's a powerful barrier inside the castle. It's blocking my spatial perception. I can only make out a little of the outer area."
"What did you find?" Qin Chuan asked.
"Lots of Undead Creatures are patrolling the perimeter, all Saint Domain-grade or higher. I also sensed a few Demigod-grade presences..." Mirror paused, then continued. "I can't see inside the castle, but I can feel an incredibly powerful dark energy. It's far stronger than any of the Undead Demigods we encountered before."
"Sounds like a big one lives in there." Water God rubbed his nose, excitement flashing in his eyes. "Now this is interesting!"
"Don't get reckless." Qin Chuan raised a hand to stop Water God and the others from rushing out. "I've concealed our presence with Shadow Domain, so whatever's inside hasn't noticed us yet. I should warn you: the master of this castle may well be beyond Demigod-grade, perhaps even at the level of a Lower God.
