Uchiha Kiyoshi hurried home from the Ninja Tool Shop, his heart pounding with excitement.

"How hadn't I thought of that? Separation—there's still separation!"

Unlike Physical Energy, Spiritual Energy was connected to the soul. Even after becoming part of Chakra, Uchiha Kiyoshi could still sense that he was capable of controlling it.

But he could only sense that he could control it. He was still far from actually controlling it.

For three hours, Uchiha Kiyoshi did not even look at his Sealing Jutsu materials. He remained focused on his research.

Unfortunately, when the last of his Chakra was exhausted, he still failed to control the Spiritual Energy and withdraw it from the Chakra. He could only sigh helplessly.

"Sure enough, this is another thing that needs training. Sigh! I really am doomed to work myself to the bone."

Once Chakra was released outside the body, it naturally dissipated even if nothing was done with it, though relatively slowly. Still, it was being consumed. To maintain enough Chakra for research, Uchiha Kiyoshi had to keep supplying it. It was not even one-tenth the size of a sesame seed. It was no small feat that Uchiha Kiyoshi could control so little Chakra.

This time, Uchiha Kiyoshi directly controlled the Spiritual Energy within the Chakra in his hand and withdrew it.

The blue glow of the Chakra gradually faded, and in the end, it transformed into an energy that gave off a pale green light. Before Uchiha Kiyoshi could study it closely, the energy in his hand dissipated.

After thinking it over carefully, Uchiha Kiyoshi understood what had happened.

He had guessed before that Physical Energy could not be preserved outside the body. Just like what had happened now, it dissipated in an instant. This merely confirmed that guess.

This success was encouraging. Uchiha Kiyoshi had finally confirmed that his line of thought was correct.

The most important thing now was to verify whether Physical Energy actually had a nourishing effect on the body.

Unfortunately, the amount just now was too little for Uchiha Kiyoshi to feel any effect, so he still had to work harder.

Ten minutes later, other than the outermost Chakra membrane, Uchiha Kiyoshi had restored all the Chakra inside into Physical Energy.

Next, Uchiha Kiyoshi planned to verify the nourishing effect Physical Energy had on the body's cells.

He controlled the Chakra sphere and slowly brought it into contact with his right hand.

Uchiha Kiyoshi was extremely careful throughout the entire process, fully focused and not daring to be careless in the slightest.

As the Chakra sphere made contact with his right hand, Uchiha Kiyoshi controlled it and guided it back into his body.

Finally, after moving the Chakra sphere to his right pinky, Uchiha Kiyoshi dispersed the outer Chakra membrane, allowing the Physical Energy inside to spread into the cells surrounding his right pinky.

"What a comfortable feeling. This is what cultivation should be!"
