"Once this mission is over, I'm eating five little cakes... no, six. Seven or eight would work too!"

Rosaliya chattered at Liliya as she swung her sword at a Honkai Beast.

Liliya coordinated her attacks against the Honkai Beast from the side, a gleam beginning to flicker in her eyes as well.

"I can eat lots of little cakes too!"

"Then let's compete!" Rosaliya began shouting. "Starting now, we'll see who kills more Honkai Beasts. Whoever gets the most can eat more cake in the end!"

After successfully cutting down a Honkai Beast, Rosaliya planted one hand on her hip and issued Liliya a challenge.

Liliya calmly replied, "Sure, but an idiot can't possibly beat me."

"Ah!"

Rosaliya got a little angry. Her brain just worked a bit slower, that was all. Fighting Honkai Beasts only required strength. What use was being smart?

Suddenly, Rosaliya felt herself covered by a shadow. Han Jiang placed a hand on each girl's head.

"Eating that many sweets, aren't you afraid of getting cavities?"

Han Jiang's voice came from above them. The two girls looked up together and saw Han Jiang's big face.

"Hmph!" Rosaliya proudly declared, "Outstanding Valkyries never care about such tiny problems as cavities."

Liliya replied, "Liliya brushes her teeth properly before bed every night, so Liliya won't get cavities."

Han Jiang nodded in satisfaction and said grandly, "Then let's stop discussing how much cake you can eat. First, let's rescue the survivors trapped in the school. After that, you can eat as much as you want. My treat!"

"Yay!"

The two girls happily hopped once, their tails beginning to sway behind them.

"Make sure you stay safe."

"Got it!"

After saying that, the two rushed toward the next Honkai Beast, while Han Jiang took out his weapon and loosened up.
