Ch. 382The Emperor of the Crystal Tower

Luo Mu traveled to Goldenrod City to meet Delibird before continuing toward Kanto, but a live report revealed that the Crystal Tower crisis had begun nearby. Remembering the Entei created from Molly’s dreams, Luo Mu decided to intervene and save it.

  • Calyrex strengthened the Sandslash couple’s Pokémon Egg with Life Energy, and Luo Mu prepared to travel to Kanto to collect Berries.
  • Calyrex suggested Luo Mu bring Moltres and Arcanine, and Luo Mu also chose Dragonite, Victini, Roaring Thunder Drum, and Mimikyu.
  • Luo Mu flew to Goldenrod City, found Delibird, and invited it to travel with him for a few days.
  • While Luo Mu and the Pokémon walked through Goldenrod City, a television broadcast showed Ash and his companions entering the crystallized Snowdon Mansion.
  • Luo Mu recognized the events of The Ruler of the Crystal Tower and decided to intervene to save the dream-born Entei.

Ch. 383Heroes Always Arrive at the Critical Moment

Luo Mu arrived in Greenfield and learned that Ash was trapped inside the Crystal Tower, battling an Entei created by the Unown. He blasted a path through the crystal defenses and reached the tower just as Entei attacked him, leaving a massive Pokémon to collide with it.

  • Luo Mu met Officer Jenny, who recognized him and escorted him to Professor Oak at the Pokémon Center.
  • Professor Oak explained that Ash and Charizard were fighting the Unown-created Entei inside the Crystal Tower, and Luo Mu set out to help.
  • Luo Mu used Victini to empower Arcanine’s Burn Up, which destroyed a path through the spreading crystals and damaged the Crystal Tower’s outer defenses.
  • Entei knocked the exhausted Charizard down and prepared to attack Ash, but Luo Mu’s explosion shook the tower and distracted it.
  • Entei fired at the approaching intruder, but a massive figure dodged the attack with Extreme Speed and slammed Entei to the ground.

Ch. 384Angry Rebuke

Luo Mu fought Molly’s Phantom Entei, then stopped the battle and challenged Entei’s belief that it had to let Molly go. Entei admitted it was only an illusory phantom born from Molly’s longing, leaving Molly saddened by the truth.

  • Luo Mu arrived with Arcanine and sent Roaring Thunder Drum to battle Entei, whose Eruption was defeated by Rising Voltage.
  • Molly rushed between Luo Mu and Entei to protect her father, and Luo Mu called off the fight.
  • Luo Mu asked Entei what it would do if Molly’s happiness lay in the outside world, and Entei said it would let her go.
  • Luo Mu angrily rejected Entei’s idea that love meant parting and asked whether it had ever wanted to live with Molly outside the illusion.
  • Entei admitted it could not leave because it was an illusory phantom born from Molly’s longing, and Molly looked saddened.

Ch. 385Calyrex Displays Its Might

Luo Mu helped Molly overcome her loneliness and escape the Crystal Tower with Hanako, while Entei stayed behind as the Unown’s power ran wild. With Calyrex’s help, Luo Mu began separating the Unown and returning them to their Wood Carving Boards, seeking a way for Entei to remain with Molly.

  • Luo Mu persuaded Entei and Molly to leave the Crystal Tower, and Molly accepted Hanako’s comfort as the crystal petals began to bloom.
  • The Unown’s energy went out of control and spread crystallization through the tower, so Luo Mu led Ash and the others through an exit he and Arcanine had opened.
  • Entei stayed behind because it would disappear outside the tower’s range, and Luo Mu promised Molly he would return her father to her.
  • Luo Mu and Entei reached the Unown, where Mimikyu broke through their force field and Luo Mu summoned Calyrex for help.
  • Calyrex explained that Entei needed to want to stay, the Unown’s power needed calming, and the Wood Carving Boards had to serve as vessels for them.
  • Calyrex sealed the Unown’s power, returned those from the Time-Space Rift, and sent the remaining twenty-six Unown back into the Wood Carving Boards.

Ch. 386The Extra Two Wood Carving Boards, Special Unown Forms, Ash's Challenge!

After Calyrex closed the Time-Space Rift, Entei remained with Molly through the Unown’s protection, while two mysterious Wood Carving Boards appeared at Snowdon Mansion. Ash challenged Luo Mu to a battle before heading toward Ecruteak City, and Luo Mu accepted with a one-versus-seven match.

  • Calyrex explained that the twenty-six Unown had linked Entei’s existence to Molly’s Wood Carving Boards, and Entei thanked Calyrex and Luo Mu for their help.
  • Luo Mu gave Molly a box to keep safe, while Professor Oak examined Arcanine until Arcanine attacked him with Flamethrower; Oak emerged unharmed and kept approaching it.
  • Mimikyu discovered two unusual Wood Carving Boards marked with an exclamation point and a question mark behind Luo Mu.
  • Professor Oak promised to investigate Professor Hale’s disappearance, and Ash, Kasumi, Takeshi, and Luo Mu left Snowdon Mansion.
  • Ash challenged Luo Mu to a Pokémon battle, and Luo Mu accepted a one-versus-seven match against Ash’s Pokémon.

Ch. 387Battle Ash, 1 VS 7!

Luo Mu challenged Ash to a one-versus-seven battle to test his strength and help him improve as a Trainer. Delibird defeated Ash’s first five Pokémon, including Bulbasaur, leaving the battle unfinished as the fight reached its most promising opponent yet.

  • Ash accepted Luo Mu’s one-versus-seven challenge, and Takeshi refereed the battle.
  • Delibird swiftly defeated Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile, then beat Ash’s Shiny Noctowl with Ice Beam and Ice Punch.
  • Ash sent out Bulbasaur, whose experience let it restrain Delibird briefly with Vine Whip before Delibird cut free with Steel Wing.
  • Delibird used Snowscape to weaken Bulbasaur’s Razor Leaf and hinder its Solar Beam charge.
  • Bulbasaur fired Solar Beam, but Delibird answered with Blizzard and froze Bulbasaur into an ice sculpture.

Ch. 388Pikachu and Charizard: You Think You're the Only One, Ye Yue, Who Can Steamroll Across Generations?

Ash challenged Luo Mu but lost as Delibird defeated his Pokémon one by one, though Pikachu learned Iron Tail during the battle. Luo Mu invited Ash and Charizard to Paldea for special training before the Silver Conference, and Ash accepted.

  • Delibird defeated Bulbasaur, and Ash sent out Pikachu for his final Pokémon before Charizard.
  • Pikachu endured Delibird's attacks, recovered some health when Delibird's gift restored it, and learned Iron Tail before losing its ability to battle.
  • Charizard fought Delibird in the air and brought it down with a Flamethrower, but Delibird's blizzard knocked Charizard out and secured Luo Mu's victory.
  • Luo Mu invited Ash to bring Charizard to Paldea for special training before the Silver Conference, and Ash agreed.

Ch. 389Indigo Plateau, Another Moltres

Luo Mu traveled to Saffron City, where Li Hua escorted him toward Indigo Plateau and asked him for a battle. At Kanto League headquarters, the Sacred Fire reacted to Luo Mu and Moltres, revealing a living firebird that resembled Moltres.

  • Luo Mu arrived in Saffron City, where Li Hua met him on behalf of the Kanto League and arranged for him to rest before traveling to Indigo Plateau.
  • Li Hua asked Luo Mu to battle her after they reached Indigo Plateau and said she was especially interested in his Dragonite, which had defeated Moltres.
  • Luo Mu spent the night sewing a cloth disguise for Mimikyu and noticed that a photo Delibird had taken in Ilex Forest appeared to show Celebi.
  • Luo Mu and Li Hua drove to Indigo Plateau and discussed the Kanto League's plans to adopt a Champion League system.
  • At Kanto League headquarters, the Sacred Fire surged up to block Luo Mu and Delibird, then calmed when Moltres appeared and formed a living firebird resembling it.

Ch. 390Flames with Life? The Legend of Moltres!

Luo Mu’s Moltres received a healing flame from the living will within the Kanto League’s Sacred Fire. Damelanqi then brought Luo Mu and Delibird to an underground greenhouse, where Meganium’s calming fragrance greeted them.

  • The flame-born Moltres sent a miniature Moltres into Luo Mu’s Moltres, then returned to the Sacred Fire in the brazier.
  • Damelanqi appeared and explained that the Sacred Fire came from a powerful Moltres whose flames could heal wounds and whose will could grant an opportunity to those it acknowledged.
  • Damelanqi suggested that the Sacred Fire had given Luo Mu’s Moltres a spark capable of healing wounds, and Luo Mu recalled Moltres to check on it later.
  • Damelanqi led Luo Mu and Delibird to an underground cultivation greenhouse and warned Luo Mu to keep Delibird’s Ice-type energy under control.
  • The greenhouse door opened, and Meganium’s fragrance filled the air, calming Luo Mu and Delibird.

Ch. 391Gold and Silver Series Berries Obtained! Li Hua's Challenge!

Luo Mu inspected three mutated berry saplings and learned that their berries could be ordinary, silver, or golden, while Damelanqi arranged a special carrier to transport them. Outside the greenhouse, Li Hua challenged Luo Mu to a battle, and the chapter left them facing off at the Indigo Plateau with Dragonite against Weavile.

  • Damelanqi showed Luo Mu and Delibird the Nanab, Razz, and Bluk berry saplings and explained that their harvests could include ordinary, silver, or golden berries.
  • Luo Mu learned that Erika's Grass-type Pokémon helped nourish the greenhouse plants, but even ideal growing conditions could not guarantee golden berries.
  • Damelanqi said the laboratory had developed a special oxygen-filled device to carry the saplings safely until Luo Mu could transplant them.
  • Li Hua stopped Luo Mu outside the greenhouse and renewed her challenge to teach him about Dark-type Pokémon through battle.
  • Damelanqi refereed as Luo Mu and Li Hua began a one-on-one battle at the Indigo Plateau, sending out Dragonite and Weavile.

Ch. 392VS Elite Four Li Hua, Dragon Slayer Weavile and Dragonite!

Luo Mu and Dragonite battled Li Hua’s Weavile, which had been trained to counter Dragonite and initially exploited its Ice-type weakness. Dragonite revealed its newly mastered Extreme Speed and powerful wind and fire attacks to defeat Weavile, leaving Li Hua to accept the loss and consider how Dragonite might one day surpass Lance’s.

  • Damelanqi began the one-on-one match between Luo Mu’s Dragonite and Li Hua’s Weavile.
  • Weavile used Fake Out to interrupt Dragon Dance and break Multiscale, then nearly struck Dragonite with Ice Punch before Dragonite’s wind-assisted flight let it evade.
  • Weavile used its speed and the room’s walls to land repeated attacks, but Luo Mu had Dragonite land and fight it on the ground.
  • Dragonite used Extreme Speed to evade Icicle Crash and counter Weavile’s attacks, then struck it with a fiery punch.
  • Li Hua ordered Weavile to use Icy Wind, but Dragonite melted the frost and countered with Heat Wave, overpowering Weavile’s blizzard.
  • Damelanqi declared Luo Mu and Dragonite the winners after Weavile lost its ability to battle, and Li Hua conceded.

Ch. 393Special Effects of Gold-and-Silver Berries? A Unique Pokémon Disease?

Luo Mu defeated Li Hua in a second battle by Terastallizing Dragonite, then returned to Paldea with rare Berry saplings and learned about their unusual effects. The chapter ended when Botan brought a critically ill Flareon to the Pokémon Center and Nurse Joy diagnosed it with Fire Sac Inflammation, a disease that might require removing its fire sac.

  • At Li Hua's request, Luo Mu Terastallized Dragonite into a Normal type and defeated her Weavile with Extreme Speed and Hurricane.
  • Luo Mu explained Terastallization to Li Hua and Damelanqi, then accepted three special Berry saplings and declined Damelanqi's offer of a Chikorita.
  • On the flight back to Paldea, Luo Mu read that Gold-and-Silver Razz Berries increased friendship, Nanab Berries calmed emotions, and Bluk Berries might improve luck; the system said combining them could help Pokémon become Partner Pokémon.
  • Luo Mu transplanted the Berry saplings at his farm, then went to the Los Platos Pokémon Center for medical instruction.
  • Botan rushed in with a weak, collapsed Flareon, and Nurse Joy diagnosed Fire Sac Inflammation, warning that surgery to remove the fire sac could prevent Flareon from using most Fire-type moves and regulating its temperature.

Ch. 394A Cure for Fire Sac Inflammation, Gathering Tera Energy!

Botan and Luo Mu sought a way to save Flareon's fire sac after Nurse Joy stabilized its Fire Sac Inflammation, and they settled on a treatment using mature Sour Herba Mystica. Botan set out to buy Tera Shards, while Luo Mu returned to the farm to discuss gathering Tera Energy with Calyrex.

  • Nurse Joy recommended removing Flareon's fire sac, and Luo Mu sent Sour Herba Mystica medicinal solution to stabilize it.
  • Botan asked whether Calyrex could heal Flareon, and Luo Mu explained that Sour Herba Mystica might strengthen its immunity enough to help treat the disease.
  • Luo Mu told Botan that Calyrex needed a huge amount of Tera Energy to mature the Herba Mystica properly, and Botan insisted on paying for the Tera Shards herself.
  • Nurse Joy stabilized Flareon and agreed that a treatment using Sour Herba Mystica could work if they planned it carefully.
  • Botan left to purchase Tera Shards, while Luo Mu returned to the farm to consult Calyrex about gathering Tera Energy.
  • At the farm, Luo Mu found Calyrex, Oranguru, Luxray, and the others looking at photos Delibird had sent from Goldenrod City.

Ch. 395Terapagos and the Great Zero Hollow

Luo Mu and Calyrex discovered that Sour Herba Mystica could absorb Tera Energy, offering a way to prepare medicine for Botan’s sick Flareon. When Arven contacted his parents for help, Olin and Futu proposed that Luo Mu visit the Great Zero Hollow, where the Pokémon Terapagos lay surrounded by energy-rich crystals.

  • Luo Mu learned that medicine and Nurse Joy had stabilized Botan’s Flareon, but treating its rare illness still required mature Sour Herba Mystica and Tera Energy.
  • Calyrex tried to Terastallize with Luo Mu’s Tera Orb, but the orb lacked enough energy; Calyrex used its psychic power to study the remaining Tera Energy instead.
  • Calyrex injected Tera Energy into a Sour Herba Mystica plant and confirmed that its roots absorbed it, giving Luo Mu and Calyrex a method for growing the herb.
  • Luo Mu and Calyrex headed to the Pokémon Center to meet Arven and check on Flareon.
  • Arven contacted Olin and Futu, who revealed that the Great Zero Hollow held a sleeping gem-like Pokémon called Terapagos and crystals rich in Tera Energy.

Ch. 396Ripening, Three Brand-New Herba Mystica!

Luo Mu and Calyrex stabilized Flareon, while Botan gathered fifteen hundred Grass-type Tera Shards to help ripen Herba Mystica. Calyrex used the shards to mature three plants, and the resulting scent drew Wild Pokémon toward the farm.

  • Arven told Luo Mu about Terapagos, the Great Zero Hollow, and his parents’ offer of concentrated Tera Energy crystals, then decided to travel and challenge the Gyms.
  • Calyrex entered Flareon’s sterile ward and eased its Fire Sac Inflammation, improving its condition and buying time for treatment.
  • Botan delivered around fifteen hundred Grass-type Tera Shards to Luo Mu’s farm after spending her remaining savings to buy them.
  • Luo Mu and Calyrex decided to use the shards to ripen three kinds of Herba Mystica, and Calyrex infused their soil with Tera Energy and its power of Bountiful Harvests.
  • The three Herba Mystica ripened, releasing a scent that stirred nearby Wild Pokémon and caused unrest around the farm.

Ch. 397Twin Eevee, Brown and Silver!

Luo Mu prepared the farm for a swarm of Wild Pokémon drawn by the ripening Herba Mystica, while two Eevee sisters tried to enter the farm to ask him for help. As Calyrex scanned the defenses, it detected that the sisters had already sneaked inside.

  • The farm’s Pokémon reacted to the spreading Herba Mystica scent and began organizing defenses against the Wild Pokémon it would attract.
  • Luo Mu had Mimikyu and Spectrier guard the Ice Cellar area with Regice and Glastrier, then sent Botan to the Pokémon Center with Herba Mystica and instructions for Nurse Joy.
  • Two Eevee sisters decided to warn Luo Mu about the coming attack and ask him to help the frail Shiny Eevee, whom her brown-furred sister had protected since they left their hostile group.
  • Luo Mu learned that Pokémon around the Ranch Area and Lake Area had formed defensive lines, then discussed the threat of underground attackers with Oranguru.
  • Calyrex scanned the farm and told Luo Mu that two little ones had already sneaked inside.

Ch. 398The Twin Eevee Who Walked into a Trap, Farm Defense Battle!

Luo Mu recognized the two Eevee who came to warn him that Wild Pokémon were gathering to attack the farm for its Herba Mystica. Oranguru organized the farm’s Pokémon to repel wave after wave of attackers, and the battle lasted until dawn.

  • Oranguru deployed the farm’s Pokémon after Calyrex detected two Eevee near the crops, and Luo Mu went to investigate.
  • Luo Mu recognized one Eevee as the Sea Queen Eevee he had met before and learned that she had brought her timid shiny twin sister to seek his help.
  • Eevee warned Luo Mu that Wild Pokémon would soon attack, and she explained that she had come because her frail sister needed help.
  • Serperior raised a dense wall of vines as Moltres and other Wild Pokémon began attacking the farm from the sky and across its different areas.
  • Oranguru urged Alcremie to keep making food while the farm’s Pokémon defended their positions, and the battle continued until Dragonite dispersed the Herba Mystica scent at dawn.

Ch. 399Selling Himself to Save His Sister

After the battle, Eevee asked Luo Mu to help her frail, underdeveloped shiny younger sister. Luo Mu offered treatment in exchange for both sisters joining the farm, and Eevee agreed, leaving the sisters settled in his room while he planned for their care.

  • Eevee and the other Eevee Sisters surveyed the battle damage and marveled that the farm's fence had remained intact.
  • Luo Mu and Calyrex discussed repairing the devastated land outside the farm, and Calyrex noticed Eevee was waiting to speak with him.
  • Eevee revealed that her shiny younger sister had been frail since birth, ostracized by their group, and weakened further by malnutrition.
  • Luo Mu examined the shiny Eevee and proposed treating her with Herba Mystica, Calyrex's Life Energy, and other nourishment.
  • Luo Mu offered to provide treatment if both Eevee sisters joined the farm, and Eevee accepted the deal.
  • Luo Mu brought the sisters home, suspended daytime farmwork so the Pokémon could rest, and arranged beds for them in his room.

Ch. 400Dead Duck!!!

Luo Mu welcomed Joy Shizuka as a new student in his battle class and learned that she had both Chansey and Porygon as her Pokémon. He then set the students a challenge to defeat Politoed, leaving Shizuka to face the class’s notoriously formidable opponent.

  • Eevee woke Luo Mu by licking his face, and he left the farm after telling the Eevee Sisters to seek Oranguru if they needed anything.
  • Luo Mu introduced Joy Shizuka to Nemona, Zhen Si, Pippa, and Arven, then said Botan would stay in Los Platos with Flareon while Flareon recovered from Fire Sac Inflammation.
  • Shizuka brought out Chansey and Porygon, surprising Luo Mu, who wondered how she had obtained Porygon and imagined how difficult her team could become.
  • Luo Mu began class by summoning Politoed and challenged the students to find a way to defeat it, warning them to discover its weaknesses for themselves.

Ch. 401Tinkatink: Thanks for Heaven's Gift

After a day of battles at Uva Academy, Luo Mu gave the students advice and returned to his farm, where he learned that Corviknight feathers could help restore the Rusted Sword and Rusted Shield. Nearby, Tinkatink found five feathers and decided to seek more so it could forge a new hammer.

  • Luo Mu reviewed Nemona, Pippa, Arven, Zhen Si, and Shizuka's battle performance after none of them managed to defeat Politoed.
  • Lei He asked Luo Mu about his Paldea Ancient Coin collection and offered to introduce him to sources, but he declined and left for the farm.
  • Luo Mu noticed Three Hairs and the other Corviknight and Corvisquire shedding feathers, then learned from Calyrex that the feathers could help restore the Rusted Sword and Rusted Shield.
  • Calyrex told Luo Mu that materials from Steel-type Pokémon could help a divine artifact bear the king's power, prompting him to consider how to gather them.
  • Tinkatink found a metallic Corviknight feather and, after collecting five by sunset, decided to search for more to forge a new hammer.
