Ch. 1Retirement of a Champion

Luo Mu defeated Geeta in the Champion Assessment, then declined a position in the Paldea League so he could retire and build a peaceful life in Los Platos. Just as he received the land and permits for his new home, a system appeared and announced that it would train him to become a Champion.

  • Luo Mu and Luxray defeated Geeta's Glimmora with Wild Charge, earning Luo Mu the title of Champion-Level Trainer.
  • Luo Mu told Geeta he planned to retire and open a shop or farm, and Geeta accepted his decision while asking him to help through private commissions if needed.
  • Half a month later, Luo Mu collected the land transfer certificate and construction permit for his plot in Los Platos after a seven-day wait.
  • Luo Mu reached his land and imagined a quiet life with his Pokémon, but a system appeared and declared its goal was to make him a Champion.
  • Luo Mu recognized that he had already become a Champion-Level Trainer without the system and reacted with disdain at its arrival.

Ch. 2Tera Orb Raw Ore

Luo Mu settled into the abandoned house on his newly purchased land and began clearing it out with Swampert. The Hint System guided him to a Tera Orb Raw Ore, a discovery that could help improve his strength.

  • Luo Mu rejected the system's suggestion that he travel to other regions and continued surveying his land.
  • Luo Mu explored the old three-story house and decided to clean it up and move in.
  • Luo Mu summoned Swampert to carry furniture outside while he sorted the abandoned belongings.
  • The Hint System pointed Luo Mu to a cardboard box containing a mysterious crystal stone.
  • Luo Mu opened the box and recognized the gray-black ore inside as Tera Orb Raw Ore.

Ch. 3Making Money Isn't Shameful

Luo Mu found Tera Orb Raw Ore and called Geeta to arrange for it to be made into a usable Tera Orb. Geeta offered to cover the steep production cost if he became a battle instructor at Naranja Academy, and Luo Mu agreed to the job.

  • Luo Mu agreed to keep the Tera Orb Raw Ore after the Special Prompt System pleaded with him not to sell it.
  • Luo Mu and Swampert moved the furniture outside, and Luo Mu found old photos, unusable seeds, and the Tera Orb Raw Ore among the boxes.
  • Luo Mu called Geeta and asked her to connect him with Professors Turo and Sada so they could make the ore into a Tera Orb.
  • Geeta explained that making a Tera Orb would cost about as much as Luo Mu's recently purchased land, then offered to cover the cost if he taught two battle classes a week at Naranja Academy.
  • Luo Mu accepted Geeta's offer and asked when he could start work.

Ch. 4But I'm 007

Luo Mu secured a teaching job at Naranja Academy and prepared to take the Tera Crystal Ore to the nearby research institute. After shopping for supplies, he arrived at his future farm with Luxray and Dragonite, ready to settle in for the night.

  • Geeta told Luo Mu that Naranja Academy would reopen in a month and offered to cover the costs of delivering the Tera Crystal Ore to the Lighthouse Research Institute near Los Platos.
  • Luo Mu confirmed his start date, salary, and benefits with Geeta, then learned he would earn fifty thousand a month during probation.
  • Luo Mu asked his system about storage space, then tucked the Tera Crystal Ore into a canvas shoulder bag and went out to buy necessities.
  • Luo Mu returned to the farm with Luxray and Dragonite carrying supplies, hugged Dragonite, and sent the pair to deliver the food and seasonings to Ceruledge.

Ch. 5Paldea Batman

Luo Mu visited the Lighthouse Research Institute to have a Tera Orb made and was mistaken for a threat when Arven and Mabosstiff greeted him. After Olin learned the encounter was a misunderstanding, she agreed to make the orb and let Luo Mu tour the institute.

  • Arven mistook Luo Mu for his father, then Mabosstiff attacked him to protect Arven.
  • Luo Mu used Mimikyu's Shadow Claw to stop Mabosstiff without hurting it, prompting Olin to confront him.
  • Luo Mu explained that Chairwoman Geeta had introduced him, and Arven confirmed the encounter was a misunderstanding.
  • Olin apologized and told Luo Mu she would make his Tera Orb, though it would take about half a month because her husband was away.
  • Luo Mu asked to tour the institute, and Olin agreed to show him around.

Ch. 6Scarlet Book

Luo Mu accompanied young Arven to Professor Olin’s research lab, where he learned about child traffickers operating in Paldea and saw the Scarlet Book. Olin revealed that she and Professor Futou planned to restart the Terastal Project in the Paldea Great Pit, leaving Luo Mu considering the dangers and his possible role in what came next.

  • Arven repeatedly called Luo Mu “Uncle” until Luo Mu persuaded him to call him “Brother Luo Mu,” and Olin sent him off to play with Mabosstiff.
  • Olin told Luo Mu that criminals from other Regions had entered Paldea to kidnap and traffic children.
  • At the lab, Olin explained that she and Professor Futou researched Paldea’s legends and showed Luo Mu the Scarlet Book.
  • Olin said her interest in the ancient Pokémon described in the book had led her to focus on Area Zero research.
  • Olin revealed that she and Professor Futou planned to restart the Terastal Project that month and asked Luo Mu about his interest in the Scarlet Book.

Ch. 7Average IQ, Decent EQ

Luo Mu visited Professor Sada’s laboratory, where a hint from his system helped her solve a key problem with the Paldea Great Pit’s transmission device. He left with unidentified seeds and a request to look after Arven, realizing his new teaching job might bring him into contact with other troublesome students.

  • Professor Sada explained the Paldea Great Pit research plans to Luo Mu, then Olin’s experiment on a durable spatial transmission core failed again.
  • Luo Mu used the Hint System to identify two solutions that could be combined, prompting Olin to test a new approach.
  • After repeated attempts, Olin created working cores and demonstrated the device by teleporting a beaker between two stations.
  • Olin thanked Luo Mu, invited him to become a researcher, and gave him several bags of unidentified seeds; Luo Mu declined the job offer but accepted the seeds.
  • Olin asked Luo Mu to take care of Arven at Naranja Academy, and Luo Mu worried that teaching Arven would bring him into contact with other protagonists and problem students.

Ch. 8A Fisher Never Goes Home Empty-Handed

Luo Mu went fishing at his farm creek, where Magikarp ate his bait until Serperior chased them away. After finally getting a bite, he and Serperior saw what he had hooked, and Serperior’s narrowed eyes suggested trouble.

  • Luo Mu failed to catch fish because Magikarp ate his bait and drove away the ordinary fish.
  • Serperior scared off the Magikarp, then tied up Luo Mu when he tried to hug her before accepting his flattery.
  • The construction foreman asked Luo Mu to let workers bring local children to the farm while they watched over them, and Luo Mu agreed.
  • Luo Mu cast his line again and finally got a bite, but Serperior narrowed her eyes when she saw the catch.

Ch. 9Guys, I Hooked a Person!

Luo Mu and Serperior rescued a drowned Naranja Academy student, who introduced herself as Nemona. When Luo Mu realized she was the young version of the future Champion, Nemona warned him that her kidnappers might be nearby.

  • Serperior pulled an unconscious child from the water, and Luo Mu helped clear her airway.
  • The girl woke up frightened, but Luo Mu introduced himself and Serperior and reassured her.
  • The girl said her name was Nemona and that she lived in Los Platos, making Luo Mu realize she was the future Champion.
  • Nemona grabbed Luo Mu's hand and urged him to flee because her kidnappers might be nearby.

Ch. 10Name of Champion

After rescuing Nemona from kidnappers, Luo Mu set out with her and his Pokémon to free the children held in an abandoned warehouse. They caught the kidnappers as they prepared to move their captives, and Dragonite overwhelmed the guard while Luo Mu’s team stormed inside.

  • Luo Mu learned that Nemona had escaped captivity after Pawmi bit through her bindings, and that the kidnappers planned to sell the other children to Team Rocket.
  • Nemona changed into dry clothes and urged Luo Mu to help rescue the children, so he took her to the kidnappers’ hideout on Dragonite.
  • The three kidnappers returned to their warehouse and decided to move the children before leaving Paldea to abduct more people.
  • Luo Mu and Nemona arrived overhead, and the short kidnapper failed to warn the others before Dragonite pinned him down with its dragon might.
  • Luo Mu sent five Pokémon into the warehouse while Dragonite defeated the short kidnapper’s three Ninjask with Air Cutter.

Ch. 11A Doll with a Faint Presence

Luo Mu and his Pokémon rescued three kidnapped children, while Nemona watched and grew to admire him. As the police arrived, Nemona comforted the children and the kidnappers remained bound for arrest.

  • Nemona witnessed Luo Mu’s strength and calmness and resolved to become a Trainer.
  • Luxray, Swampert, Ceruledge, and Serperior coordinated an assault on the warehouse, incapacitated the kidnappers’ Pokémon, restrained the men, and rescued three children.
  • Mimikyu slipped through the shadows to Luo Mu, startling Nemona before climbing onto his shoulder.
  • Nemona comforted the rescued children as police sirens sounded and an expensive car arrived behind the police vehicles.
  • Luo Mu congratulated the bound kidnappers on earning themselves a pair of silver bracelets.

Ch. 12I Want to Become a Trainer

After rescuing Nemona, Luo Mu declined her family’s reward and returned to plan the farm with the Machoke Construction Team. Back home, Nemona told her father Allen she wanted to become a Trainer and grow strong enough to reach Champion-Level.

  • Officer Jenny and the rescued children’s parents thanked Luo Mu, while Sebastian invited him to visit Nemona’s family estate and receive a reward.
  • Luo Mu declined the invitation, accepted Sebastian’s business card, and told Nemona she could visit his farm before heading back.
  • Luo Mu met the foreman and finalized a farm plan dividing it into Farming, Ranch, and Lake Areas for one hundred thousand League currency.
  • Nemona returned to her family’s mansion and told Allen she wanted to become a Trainer like Luo Mu and work toward becoming Champion-Level.

Ch. 13The Farming Path, Officially Begins

Luo Mu inspected the newly built farm and planned to clear its land with help from his Pokémon while postponing planting until he learned more about farming. After Dragonite went to fetch Swampert, Luo Mu received a call from Professor Sada.

  • Allen agreed to find Nemona a Pawmi Egg and let her wear her hair in a single ponytail.
  • Luo Mu inspected the Farming, Ranch, and Lake Areas and planned to clear weeds and stones before planting or raising Pokémon.
  • Luo Mu decided to use Swampert and other Pokémon to help with farm work and planned to consult farming resources at Naranja Academy.
  • Luo Mu called down Dragonite and asked it to fetch Swampert, then joked with his Hint System about finding valuable items nearby.
  • Luo Mu received a phone call from Professor Sada.

Ch. 14Terastallize, Swampert!

Luo Mu received the Tera Orb from Arven and prepared to test it on Swampert. The chapter ended as he called for Swampert to Terastallize.

  • Professor Sada told Luo Mu that the Tera Orb was ready and that Arven was bringing it to Los Platos with Mabosstiff.
  • Professor Sada explained that she and Futu would soon return to the Great Pit for research, and she asked Luo Mu to look after Arven.
  • Professor Sada and Futu worried about leaving Arven alone and agreed to seek a balance between their research and parental responsibilities.
  • Luo Mu met Arven at his farm, where Arven handed him the Tera Orb.
  • Luo Mu and Swampert shared an understanding, and Luo Mu called, “Terastallize, Swampert!”

Ch. 15The Power of Terastallization

Luo Mu Terastallized Swampert into a Ground type and discovered that the transformation dramatically increased its power. After Swampert cleared the wasteland around the farm, it eagerly watched Luo Mu’s drained Tera Orb.

  • Luo Mu used the Tera Orb to Terastallize Swampert into a Ground type, exciting Arven and Mabosstiff.
  • Luo Mu brought Arven and the Pokémon to the overgrown Farming Area to demonstrate Terastallization.
  • Swampert used Stomping Tantrum, whose enhanced force overturned stones and weeds and loosened the hard ground.
  • Luo Mu realized Terastallized Swampert could potentially gain the upper hand against Luxray once it mastered its new power.
  • Swampert helped level the wasteland in the Farming Area and Ranch Area, then ended its Terastallized state and stared eagerly at Luo Mu’s drained Tera Orb.

Ch. 16Visiting Jones Farm

Luo Mu brought Arven and Mabosstiff to Jones Farm to learn about farming from a professional. Peter, the farm’s planting manager, welcomed Luo Mu and offered to answer his questions, while the Jones Couple remained away on business.

  • Luo Mu realized he could not recharge his Tera Orb until he found Tera Crystals or reached a Pokémon Center with a replenishment device.
  • Arven asked whether they could grow crops and harvest ingredients, and Luo Mu admitted he lacked farming expertise before suggesting they consult a professional.
  • Luo Mu took Arven and Mabosstiff to Jones Farm, where the elderly guard checked their appointment and allowed them entry.
  • Peter introduced himself as the person in charge of fruits and vegetables and explained that the Jones Couple were negotiating business in Porto Marinada.
  • Peter told Luo Mu that the Jones Couple had considered buying his land and said he was grateful Luo Mu had purchased it, then invited him to ask any farming questions.

Ch. 17Future Plans

Luo Mu visited Jones Farm to learn about crops and berry trees, then planned a modest first planting for his own farm. After Arven left on Dragonite, Luo Mu decided to buy seeds at the market.

  • Luo Mu asked Peter about growing conditions, prices, and harvest cycles for Oran Berry and Pecha Berry trees at Jones Farm.
  • Arven harvested berries with Mabosstiff while Luo Mu took notes on Peter’s advice.
  • Luo Mu decided to begin with ordinary crops and Oran Berry and Pecha Berry saplings rather than expensive mature trees.
  • Luo Mu offered Arven a ride on Dragonite so he could return to Professor Sada early, and gave him a Poké Ball for Mabosstiff.
  • Arven flew away on Dragonite, and Luo Mu decided to visit the market to buy seeds.

Ch. 18Pokémon Egg

Luo Mu bought seeds for his farm from Juzi, who gave him strawberry seeds and asked him to care for an unknown Pokémon Egg. Meanwhile, Arven returned to a darkened home, found a note, and quietly called someone a liar.

  • Luo Mu ignored the market vendors and visited Juzi’s seed shop, where she welcomed him and asked about his farm.
  • Luo Mu bought seeds for potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, cabbage, and cucumbers, and Juzi added a bag of strawberry seeds as a gift.
  • Juzi offered Luo Mu the strawberry seeds in exchange for helping care for a Pokémon Egg she had kept in a locked cabinet.
  • Juzi showed Luo Mu the egg, which had a red base with gray-black stripes.
  • Arven rushed home after saying goodbye to Dragonite, found the room dark and a note on the table, then lowered his head and whispered, “Liar.”

Ch. 19Accepting Responsibility

Luo Mu accepted Grandma Juzi’s long-unhatched Pokémon Egg and made plans to find help and prepare for its hatching. He returned to the farm at night with the Egg, where his six Pokémon welcomed him and noticed his new responsibility.

  • Grandma Juzi explained that her explorer son had brought back the still-living Pokémon Egg from Sinnoh, and she asked Luo Mu to care for it.
  • After weighing the risks, Luo Mu accepted the Egg and promised to do everything he could to help it hatch.
  • Luo Mu searched for information and bought fertilizer and Pasture Seeds, arranging for the supplies to be delivered to the farm.
  • Luo Mu returned after dark carrying the Egg, and his Pokémon gathered to welcome him at the entrance.
  • Dragonite showed that it had delivered Arven home, while Luo Mu called the overlooked Mimikyu over and Luxray felt guilty for ignoring it again.

Ch. 20Separate Actions

Luo Mu arranged ways to help the long-trapped Pokémon Egg hatch, sending Dragonite to buy nutrient solution and Luxray, Ceruledge, and Mimikyu to find powerful Pokémon with Flame Body. He then planted potatoes with Serperior and Swampert, but Serperior’s attempt to supply the seeds with Grass-type energy produced no effect.

  • Luo Mu explained the Egg’s history to his Pokémon and assigned Dragonite to buy nutrient solution in Levincia, while Ceruledge, Mimikyu, and Luxray searched the wilderness for Pokémon with Flame Body.
  • Dragonite flew toward Levincia with a box, and Luxray led Ceruledge and Mimikyu out to search for Flame Body Pokémon.
  • Luo Mu brought the Egg in an incubator to the Farming Area with Serperior and Swampert and planted a bag of potato seeds with plant ash fertilizer and water.
  • Serperior transferred Grass-type energy and nutrients to the planted seeds, but Luo Mu saw no reaction and wondered why the method had failed.
