Ch. 722You've Been Targeted—Do Good People Deserve to Have Guns Pointed at Them?

Luo Mu and his Pokémon scared off an attacking Crabrawler, then made camp and cooked its shed claws on Frost Smear Mountain. Ranger Terun investigated the seafood aroma, spotted Luo Mu through his Fire Stick, and aimed at him just as the Hint System warned Luo Mu he had been targeted.

  • Luo Mu, Kubfu, Delibird, and Larvesta repelled Crabrawler's ambush, and Crabrawler escaped by shedding its claws.
  • Luo Mu collected Crabrawler's claws and stopped to cook crab meat and seafood soup for his Pokémon.
  • Terun, waiting on Frost Smear Mountain for Pokémon Hunters, followed the aroma to a vantage point with Delibird and Douding.
  • Terun saw Luo Mu through the scope of his Fire Stick and aimed at him.
  • The Hint System warned Luo Mu that he had been targeted, and Luo Mu spotted the gun pointed at him.

Ch. 723Human Nature Is "This Is So Good!"

Luo Mu stopped Luxray from attacking Terun, then invited the forest ranger and his companions to share the extra seafood soup. Terun accepted the meal, leaving his stakeout to eat with Luo Mu.

  • Luxray prepared to attack Terun, but Luo Mu recognized the danger and stopped it before anyone was hurt.
  • Luo Mu had Delibird bring Terun, his Delibird, and Douding the Greavard down from the high ground.
  • Luo Mu greeted Terun and asked whether he was pursuing the Pokémon Hunters active on Frost Smear Mountain.
  • Luo Mu invited Terun and his companions to eat the extra seafood soup he had prepared.
  • Terun resisted at first, but hunger and the food's aroma overcame him, and he sat down to eat.

Ch. 724Hunter Delibird Flock

Luo Mu and Terun searched Frost Smear Mountain for the Delibird flock that Luo Mu’s Delibird once led, while Terun shared stories from his ranger days. They found evidence that Pokémon Hunters had attacked the flock, and Luo Mu left to rescue the captured Delibird as Terun contacted the authorities.

  • After sharing a meal, Terun offered to guide Luo Mu toward Delibird flocks in the mountain’s mid-slope region, identifying one whose leadership had changed.
  • Luo Mu and Terun set out with their Pokémon, and Terun recalled being rescued from a blizzard on Mount Lanakila by an Alolan Ninetales.
  • Delibird led the group through familiar terrain, but they found broken trees, tire tracks, capture nets, and feathers at the flock’s territory.
  • Terun’s Delibird investigated nearby habitats and reported that other flocks were safe, leading Terun and Luo Mu to conclude the Hunters had targeted Delibird’s flock.
  • Terun began contacting his colleagues and Officer Jenny while Luo Mu headed off with his Pokémon to rescue the captured Delibird.

Ch. 725Team Rocket's Order

Luo Mu followed the Pokémon Hunters transporting Delibird’s flock through an approaching blizzard and discovered they were fleeing toward a rendezvous point near Paldea’s border. He confirmed the convoy held Delibird but had yet to decide whether to intercept it immediately or wait for the people meeting the hunters.

  • Luo Mu set out with Luxray, Kubfu, and Delibird to rescue Delibird’s flock before the blizzard worsened.
  • The bald Pokémon Hunter leader ordered his convoy to keep moving despite the approaching blizzard, hoping to deliver the captured Delibird to Team Rocket’s contact.
  • The hunters’ leader recalled how his gang had diverted the authorities with a decoy before capturing the Delibird flock and fleeing toward Paldea’s border.
  • Luo Mu spotted the convoy from a cliff and stopped Delibird from rushing down before Luxray investigated it.
  • Luxray used its vision to see Delibird inside the covered vehicles and confirmed that the convoy was carrying the flock.
  • Luo Mu considered whether to attack the convoy at once or follow it to find the people waiting at its rendezvous point.

Ch. 726Madre Matrix

Luo Mu followed the Pokémon Hunters through a blizzard and learned that Madre of Team Rocket had arranged to collect the captured Delibird by airship. After freezing the convoy’s tires to prevent the handoff, he infiltrated the vehicles as Madre sent three elite members to confront him.

  • Luo Mu kept following the Pokémon Hunters through the blizzard while contacting Terun and arranging for Officer Jenny and the others to follow.
  • A Delibird returned to Luo Mu after planting a listening device, revealing that the Hunters had captured 116 Delibird for a buyer named Madre and planned to meet her airship.
  • Madre Matrix leader Madre arrived at the seaside meeting point with Team Rocket members and ordered her unit to receive the Delibird.
  • Ninetales froze the tires of all five vehicles, stopping the convoy before it could reach Madre.
  • Madre sent three Madre Matrix members toward the convoy, while Luo Mu slipped inside and prepared Kubfu to smash a vehicle door with Rock Smash.

Ch. 727No Need, It'll Be Over Soon

Luo Mu and his Pokémon ambushed the Pokémon Hunters’ convoy, capturing several members before confronting the hunters who discovered them. After Team Rocket members arrived, their leader claimed they would handle Luo Mu quickly.

  • Luo Mu used Kubfu and Larvesta to break into the last vehicle and bind its two Pokémon Hunters.
  • Luo Mu and his Pokémon captured the occupants of two more vehicles, while Delibird knocked down a hunter who tried to escape.
  • The hunters in the front vehicles noticed the ambush, and three men attacked Luo Mu with a net gun and Bug-type Pokémon.
  • Delibird froze the net, Larvesta overwhelmed Ariados and Beedrill with powerful flames, and Kubfu and Delibird captured the three attackers.
  • The bald boss called for help through the communications channel and learned that Team Rocket members had arrived.
  • A Team Rocket man dismissed the bald boss’s offer to help and said they would handle Luo Mu soon.

Ch. 728You Don't Need to Face an Enemy You Can't Defeat

Luo Mu defeated the Team Rocket members and Pokémon Hunters trying to capture Delibird, then secured the group for the authorities. As Madre ordered her forces to evacuate, she warned Guz that Luo Mu was far beyond their ability to defeat.

  • Luo Mu used Ninetales's Aurora Veil and Delibird's Air Cutter to stop Hypno, Houndoom, and Gengar's attacks, then defeated the three Team Rocket members with coordinated tactics and Kubfu's surprise strike.
  • Luo Mu had Larvesta bind the defeated Team Rocket members and the Pokémon Hunters, then froze and restrained the bald leader and his underling when they tried to flee.
  • The bald leader offered to help Luo Mu lure in more members, but Luo Mu refused after the Hint System warned that the remaining Pokémon Hunters were preparing to evacuate.
  • Luo Mu noticed the Team Rocket members' body cameras and decided he could not stop their escape, but watched a pair of golden eyes prepare to send the airship a parting attack.
  • Madre ordered her unit to evacuate and rebuked Guz when he offered to fight Luo Mu, explaining that Giovanni considered Luo Mu's strength close to the Battle Legend realm.

Ch. 729Anti-Tinkaton Armor, but Made by Tinkatuff

Madre’s Team Rocket airship escaped Luo Mu’s capture attempt, but Luxray crippled it with a long-range Thunder attack. After the blizzard eased, Luo Mu reunited Delibird with its clan, helped authorities arrest the hunters and Team Rocket members, and returned to camp, where Tinkatuff received Calyrex’s approval for its Anti-Tinkaton Armor.

  • Madre ordered the airship to withdraw, but Luxray struck it with Thunder and damaged its engines, fuel tank, and camouflage system.
  • Luo Mu sheltered through the blizzard with Luxray, Ninetales, Larvesta, and the captured Delibird and Pokémon Hunters.
  • Luo Mu let Delibird lift the cloth covering the captured Delibird, and its clan welcomed their former leader back.
  • Terun explained that the captured Team Rocket members would likely be sent to serve their sentences in Kanto or Johto, while Delibird chose to leave its clan with Luo Mu.
  • Officer Jenny thanked Luo Mu for helping capture the Pokémon Hunters, and Luo Mu requested his reward money and a banner for Naranja Academy.
  • At the Farm’s Blacksmith Workshop, Calyrex approved Tinkatuff’s Anti-Tinkaton Armor for the Corviknights.

Ch. 730Today, I, Tinkatuff, Shall Enter the Artisan Master Realm!

Luo Mu Farm’s expansion had stalled because wild Tinkaton threatened Corviknight carrying deliveries through the wilderness. Tinkatuff completed armor to protect the delivery Pokémon and, encouraged by Calyrex, set out to forge a hammer worthy of its next evolution.

  • Luo Mu and Oranguru recognized that growing orders meant the Farm needed to expand deliveries beyond Los Platos, but wild Tinkaton made relying on Corviknight dangerous.
  • Tinkatuff volunteered to forge Anti-Tinkaton Armor, hoping the challenge would break its crafting bottleneck and teach it skills useful for reforging the Rusted Shield.
  • Calyrex studied wild Tinkaton attacks and promised to grant Tinkatuff’s future hammer the King’s Power if its armor met Calyrex’s approval.
  • After discarding failed designs, Tinkatuff finished armor that Calyrex approved for its impact resistance, fit, lightness, and suitability for flight.
  • Calyrex told Tinkatuff it had the skill to forge a hammer that could satisfy it and allow it to evolve, and Tinkatuff began working toward that goal with Moltres’s special flames.

Ch. 731Green's Invitation, Tinkatuff Evolves into Tinkaton!

Luo Mu asked Green to protect the Pokémon Hunters and Team Rocket members he had captured from being released, and Green agreed while planning to prepare for a battle with him. Back at the Farm, Tinkatuff forged its own giant hammer and evolved into Tinkaton.

  • Luo Mu called Lance, got no answer, and then contacted Green to ask him to keep an eye on the captured criminals after their deportation to the Kanto Region.
  • Green promised that no one would arrange the criminals' release and agreed to schedule a battle with Luo Mu, while deciding to train with Red on Silver Mountain first.
  • On April 16, Luo Mu returned to the Farm and Oranguru led him to the Blacksmith Workshop, where Tinkatuff was forging a giant hammer under Calyrex's watch.
  • Oranguru told Luo Mu that it had gathered high-quality materials for the hammer, including feathers donated by Corviknight.
  • After finishing the hammer, Tinkatuff was enveloped in Evolution Light and evolved into Tinkaton.

Ch. 732A Gym Challenger from Unova Region

After Tinkaton evolved, Luo Mu comforted it over its modest Attack increase and learned about its plan with Calyrex to become the Hammer King. Back at Naranja Academy, Luo Mu taught battle training and received a call about a Gym challenge requested by a Trainer from the Unova Region.

  • Tinkaton felt disappointed that evolving had not increased its strength as much as it expected, but Luo Mu reassured it and helped it set a training goal.
  • Calyrex and Tinkaton told Luo Mu about their agreement for Calyrex to help Tinkaton become the Hammer King once it forged a worthy hammer.
  • Luo Mu returned to Paldea, resolved to avoid getting involved in Sinnoh’s major events, and spent the next day teaching at Naranja Academy.
  • Luo Mu taught Arven and the other students desensitization training while Kieran watched Ogerpon instead of focusing on Incineroar.
  • Luo Mu answered a phone call and learned that a Trainer from the Unova Region had specifically requested a Gym challenge with him.

Ch. 733After Beating the Old One, Comes the Young One?

Luo Mu returned to Los Platos Gym to face Banjirou, Alder’s grandson, who challenged him as a stepping stone toward becoming Champion. Banjirou sent out his Shiny Dragonair, and Luo Mu chose his newly evolved Tinkaton to begin their three-on-three battle.

  • Oranguru told Luo Mu that an impatient boy from Unova had demanded a personal challenge, so Luo Mu rode Dragonite back to the Gym after class.
  • Luo Mu met Banjirou, who introduced himself as Alder’s grandson and declared that he would defeat Luo Mu on his way to becoming Champion.
  • Luo Mu accepted Banjirou’s three-on-three singles challenge and asked Oranguru to referee.
  • Banjirou sent out his Shiny Dragonair, and Luo Mu answered with his newly evolved Tinkaton.

Ch. 734The Cost of Being Uneducated

Luo Mu’s Tinkaton outmaneuvered Banjirou’s Shiny Dragonair by exploiting its Fairy typing, Swords Dance, and Encore. After Dragonair escaped into the air, Tinkaton prepared to answer with either a ranged attack or Smack Down.

  • Banjirou ordered Dragonair to use Twister, but Tinkaton strengthened itself with Swords Dance and was unaffected because Dragon-type attacks could not harm Fairy types.
  • Dragonair attacked with Water Pulse, and Tinkaton batted the water ball back into Dragonair, driving it several meters backward.
  • Luo Mu had Tinkaton use Encore, forcing Dragonair to repeat Water Pulse while Banjirou mistakenly called for other moves.
  • Banjirou ordered Dragonair to fly out of reach, and Tinkaton narrowly missed it with a hammer strike that cracked the ground.
  • Tinkaton looked up at the airborne Dragonair, ready to use Flash Cannon or Smack Down.

Ch. 735The Dragon-Slaying Squad I Prepared for Lance—Who Knew You'd Be the First to Face It

Luo Mu’s Tinkaton defeated Banjirou’s Shiny Dragonair, after which Luo Mu switched to Alolan Ninetales against Banjirou’s Shiny Gible. He revealed that he had prepared a roster of Fairy- and Ice-type Pokémon to counter Dragon-types, leaving Banjirou to wonder what grudge Luo Mu held against Lance.

  • Tinkaton used floating rocks and Gigaton Hammer to defeat Banjirou’s Shiny Dragonair.
  • Luo Mu explained that the battle was a Pokémon World Championships qualification test and that he could switch Pokémon without forfeiting.
  • Banjirou sent out his Shiny Gible while Luo Mu withdrew Tinkaton and brought out Alolan Ninetales.
  • Luo Mu confirmed Ninetales was Ice and Fairy type, then listed the Dragon-countering Pokémon he had prepared for Lance.
  • Banjirou realized Luo Mu’s lineup was built to counter Dragon-types and wondered whether he had a grudge against Lance.

Ch. 736Larvesta vs. Larvesta, Uncle Beats Nephew

Banjirou’s Gible fought Luo Mu’s Ninetales but was overwhelmed by its Blizzard, leaving Banjirou with one Pokémon remaining. Luo Mu then sent out a Larvesta matching Banjirou’s own, and Banjirou realized that his Larvesta was the other Larvesta’s nephew.

  • Gible charged Ninetales with Slash, but Aurora Veil blocked its attack and Ninetales countered with Ice Beam and Dazzling Gleam.
  • Ninetales unleashed Blizzard as Gible attacked with Dragon Rush, freezing Gible and winning the battle.
  • Banjirou recalled Gible and prepared to send out his final Pokémon, but Luo Mu announced that he was changing Pokémon.
  • Banjirou sent out his Starter Pokémon Larvesta, while Luo Mu revealed another Larvesta that had hatched from the Egg Alder entrusted to him.
  • Banjirou realized that the two Larvesta were close relatives, with his own Larvesta the nephew of Luo Mu’s.

Ch. 737Alcremie's Debut as a Dessert Chef!

Luo Mu’s Larvesta soundly defeated Banjirou’s near-evolved Larvesta, after which Luo Mu took Banjirou to the Farm for treatment and kept him there with a meal. The chapter ended with Luo Mu discovering Alcremie had begun working as a dessert chef.

  • Luo Mu’s Larvesta overwhelmed Banjirou’s Larvesta with a powerful Ember and then finished the battle with Flamethrower.
  • Luo Mu approved Banjirou’s Pokémon World Championships registration and teased him about being his god-grandson.
  • Luo Mu used Oranguru’s Instruct to force Banjirou into his Jeep and take him to the Farm for treatment.
  • Banjirou forgot his earlier resistance while enjoying a meal prepared by Audino, Falinks, and the others as Luo Mu contacted Alder.
  • Luo Mu went into the kitchen and found Alcremie focused on making desserts.

Ch. 738Dessert Competition, Round Two: Even More Strange Judges?!

Luo Mu accompanied Katy as she bought fresh crops and honey, then told Alcremie about the upcoming Dessert Competition. Alcremie eagerly chose to enter, while Katy revealed that the competition would have even more mysterious guest judges than the last one.

  • Katy visited Luo Mu's farm with Ursaring to select ingredients for Pâtisserie Monamour and prepare for the Dessert Competition.
  • Luo Mu learned the competition would offer dessert chef certificates to high-placing contestants and considered it a chance for Alcremie to gain fame.
  • Katy purchased Combee Honey and mentioned wanting to search for Frightful Sweet Honey in Sinnoh, prompting Luo Mu to plan a visit to Eterna Forest.
  • Luo Mu introduced Alcremie to the competition, and Alcremie immediately agreed to enter.
  • Katy revealed that the competition would feature more mysterious guest judges from outside Paldea and Sinnoh, leaving Luo Mu wondering who they would be.

Ch. 739The Mad Hunter J

Alcremie prepared for the Dessert Chef Competition while Luo Mu observed Shaymin’s recovery. In Sinnoh, Zhen Si rescued Ash, Takeshi, and Dawn from Hunter J, then considered seeking Ash’s help to awaken Chimchar’s hidden power.

  • Alcremie practiced making desserts and received feedback from the Pokémon at the farm as Shaymin’s flower showed signs of recovering.
  • Zhen Si used Ninjask and Ursaluna to hide Ash, Takeshi, and Dawn underground while Hunter J searched for them.
  • After Hunter J left, Zhen Si learned she had targeted Ash because he claimed to be Luo Mu’s disciple, and he warned the group to stay alert.
  • Zhen Si brought the three travelers safely back to the surface and decided Ash might help him understand how to draw out Chimchar’s hidden power.
  • Zhen Si told Ash that he had caught a Chimchar.

Ch. 740The Practicality of Super Unovan Anti-Tinkaton Armor!

Luo Mu learned that Banjirou had reached Paldea by clinging to the outside of a plane, then began testing Tinkaton’s Anti-Tinkaton Armor. The armor deflected Tinkaton’s rock attacks without making the Corviknight lose control of their flight, and the tests continued.

  • Luo Mu discovered that Banjirou had secretly ridden on a plane’s exterior from Unova to Paldea, using Larvesta’s warmth and silk to survive the journey.
  • Luo Mu left Banjirou with Oranguru and brought Ceruledge to the Farm’s training area to test Tinkaton’s armor on Three Hairs and two other Corviknight.
  • Serperior hurled rocks at the armored Corviknight with controlled force, and Luo Mu recorded how the impacts affected their flight.
  • Tinkaton gathered suitable rocks from Salt Rock Titan and smashed them toward the Corviknight circling high above.
  • The armor deflected Tinkaton’s rocks and left only white marks, while the Corviknight stayed airborne; Tinkaton celebrated the armor’s effectiveness.

Ch. 741A Close Call! Goomy at Death's Door!

Luo Mu tested Ceruledge’s Fling with Zygarde Cells, accidentally knocking Three Hairs and the other Corviknight from the sky and breaking their armor. Back at home, he discovered that Goomy was near death after eating Alcremie’s Dry Yogurt, and the Hint System revealed that severe dehydration was the cause.

  • Luo Mu used Zygarde Cells as Ceruledge’s Fling ammunition, and the attack shattered the Anti-Tinkaton Armor and knocked Three Hairs and the other Corviknight out of the sky.
  • Luo Mu comforted the injured Corviknight after Tapu Fini treated them, promised them compensation, and headed home with the other Pokémon.
  • Oranguru told Luo Mu that Banjirou had brought a weakened Goomy home after it ate a trial dessert made by Alcremie, while Comfey, Audino, and Omni-Medicine failed to help it.
  • Luo Mu examined Goomy and found a lump of Dry Yogurt in its mouth, then asked the Hint System for help.
  • The Hint System identified Goomy’s condition as severe dehydration and said Luo Mu needed to remove the Dry Yogurt and replenish its fluids.
