Ch. 61Sacred Fire Slow-Cooked Carrot and Lean Meat Porridge

Luo Mu prepared Sacred Fire carrot and lean meat porridge while waiting for the Poliwag, but the three failed to arrive. He set out with Poliwag and Mimikyu to investigate and found a mysterious, fast fish Pokémon attacking them at Thunderclap Lake.

  • Ceruledge chopped the ingredients while Luo Mu used Moltres's flame to light the stoves, and Moltres eagerly requested three bowls of porridge.
  • Luo Mu and Ceruledge woke the Pokémon, but Swampert arrived alone and explained that the three Poliwag had overslept and would come later.
  • After finishing the porridge and finding the Poliwag still missing, Luo Mu went to Thunderclap Lake with Poliwag and Mimikyu.
  • At Thunderclap Lake, a mysterious, angular fish Pokémon chased Poliwag, while its two injured companions lay unconscious.

Ch. 62Heavy Rain, Thunderclap Lake, Tyrant of the Waters

Luo Mu rescued three injured Poliwag from Veluza and agreed to help their leader fight back. Poliwag erased Veluza’s speed boosts with Haze, but Veluza transformed with Flip Turn, leaving the battle hanging as it launched a cutting stream of water at Poliwag on shore.

  • Veluza chased Poliwag through Thunderclap Lake until Luo Mu arrived and knocked it away, while Mimikyu rescued the exhausted Poliwag and its two unconscious companions.
  • Luo Mu treated the injured Poliwag, and Poliwag insisted on facing Veluza itself rather than letting Mimikyu take over.
  • Luo Mu commanded Poliwag to use Bubble Beam and Haze, slowing Veluza and clearing its speed boosts.
  • Veluza used Flip Turn to shed its excess flesh and sharply increase its strength and speed.
  • Luo Mu brought Poliwag onto shore to use the terrain, but Veluza fired a pressurized, blade-like stream of water at it.

Ch. 63This Hypnosis Is Really Useful!

Luo Mu and Poliwag defeated a Veluza that had invaded Thunderclap Lake, and Poliwag evolved into Poliwhirl after the battle. The Pokémon sent Veluza back to the wild, while Swampert reinforced the lake’s hidden water channels to prevent another intrusion.

  • Luo Mu had Poliwag dodge Veluza’s Water Blade and Water Pulse until Veluza tired, then ordered Hypnosis and defeated it despite Poliwag suffering a deep gash.
  • Poliwag evolved into Poliwhirl, delighting Luo Mu, Mimikyu, and its surviving underling.
  • After returning home, Luo Mu and the Pokémon treated the injured Poliwag and agreed to return Veluza to a wild river.
  • Luo Mu suspected Veluza had slipped through Thunderclap Lake’s protective net by shedding excess flesh, and Swampert searched the lake to confirm no other intruders remained.
  • Swampert built earthen barriers beside the hidden water channels so water could flow into Thunderclap Lake while ordinary Water-type Pokémon could not enter.

Ch. 64After the Typhoon Passed

After Typhoon Haiyan passed, Luo Mu celebrated the farm’s survival with his Pokémon and learned that Naranja Academy would reopen the next day. He discovered that only fifteen students had enrolled in his Battle Studies class, then resolved to keep teaching and develop the farm.

  • Luo Mu saw that the typhoon had weakened and found that the farmhouse and its three Experimental Fields had weathered the storm with help from the Pokémon.
  • Luo Mu held a tea party beneath a rainbow, where the Pokémon tried black tea brewed in the Chipped Pot.
  • Luo Mu kept Delibird at the farm because its injuries had left it unable to taste food or fly properly.
  • Principal Mu Fei told Luo Mu that Naranja Academy would resume classes the next day and sent him the names of the students enrolled in Battle Studies.
  • Luo Mu was discouraged by the small enrollment, but Growlithe comforted him and he resolved to guide his students and continue developing the farm.

Ch. 65Fruit Tree Saplings

Luo Mu visited Grandma Juzi in Los Platos, where she met the Growlithe hatched from her Pokémon Egg, then bought seeds and fruit tree saplings for his farm. He headed to the Pokémon Center with Delibird, while considering ways to earn money from his farm’s Pokémon and their byproducts.

  • Luo Mu arrived at the Farmers Market with Growlithe and helped Grandma Juzi clear water from outside her shop.
  • Luo Mu told Juzi that her Pokémon Egg had hatched into Growlithe, and Juzi welcomed the Pokémon into the world.
  • Luo Mu bought crop seeds from Juzi and purchased five each of Pecha Berry, Oran Berry, and Wiki Berry saplings from Zack.
  • Zack agreed to deliver the saplings to Luo Mu’s farm, and Luo Mu headed toward the Pokémon Center with Delibird.
  • Luo Mu counted his remaining League currency and considered selling Eldegoss cotton fluff and other Pokémon byproducts to support his farm.

Ch. 66The Girl Next Door, Joy, Comes Into Her Own

Luo Mu went looking for Nurse Joy and learned she was helping Wild Pokémon injured by Typhoon Haiyan. He found her lifting a massive tree trunk to save a trapped Falinks leader, revealing her extraordinary strength.

  • Luo Mu found the Los Platos Pokémon Center closed and learned from an auntie that Nurse Joy was treating Wild Pokémon after Typhoon Haiyan.
  • Nurse Joy and Chansey came across a Falinks leader trapped beneath a fallen tree while its five Minions tried to free it.
  • Joy comforted the injured Minions, then lifted the heavy trunk and ordered them to rescue their leader.
  • Luo Mu arrived in time to witness Joy's incredible feat and understood why the auntie had called her special.

Ch. 67Psychological Trauma

After helping the injured Falinks Leader, Luo Mu brought his bald and flightless Delibird to the Los Platos Pokémon Center for an examination. Nurse Joy found no physical damage preventing its recovery, but diagnosed it with psychological trauma caused by fear of the sky and lightning, leaving Luo Mu to help it recover.

  • Nurse Joy treated the Falinks Leader's superficial injuries, then left as the Falinks Minions carried their leader toward its nest.
  • Luo Mu asked Nurse Joy to examine his injured Delibird, and she brought him to the Pokémon Center in Los Platos.
  • Nurse Joy examined Delibird and found that its feathers would regrow within half a month, with no hidden injuries or damage to their roots.
  • Nurse Joy diagnosed Delibird with a fear of the sky and lightning that kept it from flying, and offered Luo Mu books on Pokémon psychology.
  • Luo Mu agreed to borrow the books and help Delibird overcome its trauma rather than leave it in the wilderness.

Ch. 68Choosing Pokémon

Luo Mu visited Aili Ranch in Mesagoza to choose Pokémon suited to his farm. After meeting ranch owner Erimos, he toured the grounds and saw the ranch’s healthy Pokémon, including three Tauros breeds.

  • Zack delivered saplings, seeds, and fertilizer to Luo Mu’s farm, where the Pokémon helped move the supplies into storage.
  • Luo Mu woke late the next morning, fed the Pokémon, and flew to Mesagoza on Dragonite.
  • Luo Mu arrived at Aili Ranch, explained that he wanted Pokémon for his farm, and told Erimos he had heard the ranch’s Pokémon were healthy and well-tempered.
  • Erimos introduced himself and led Luo Mu around the large ranch, where Luo Mu saw Fidough, Skiddo, Miltank, Mudbray, and Combat Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed Tauros.

Ch. 69Pokémon Suitable for Farms

Luo Mu toured Erimos’s ranch to find Pokémon for his new farm, weighing their prices against the benefits they could provide. He chose four Pokémon to buy and planned to catch more expensive or wild-available species himself.

  • Erimos showed Luo Mu the ranch’s Skiddo, but Luo Mu balked when he learned they cost 20,000 League currency each.
  • Luo Mu examined cheaper farm Pokémon, including Fidough and Smoliv, and considered which ones would suit his farm.
  • Erimos revealed a Milcery in a bowl and explained that the cream Pokémon had appeared among the ranch’s desserts and cost 3,000 League currency.
  • Luo Mu decided to buy one Smoliv, one Fidough, one Mudbray, and the Milcery for a total of 9,900 League currency.
  • Luo Mu planned to catch Skiddo, Mareep, and Wooloo in the wild instead of buying them from Erimos.

Ch. 70First Lesson

Luo Mu bought four Pokémon from Erimos and headed to Naranja Academy to teach his first Battle Studies lesson. He began roll call on the School Field, asking each student to introduce their Starter Pokémon.

  • Milcery woke up, greeted Luo Mu, and settled into his palm as Erimos explained that it was eager to meet its future owner.
  • Luo Mu bought Milcery and selected one Smoliv, one Mudbray, and one Fidough, then invited Erimos to visit his farm.
  • Luo Mu ate a Curry Flavored Sandwich in Mesagoza and climbed to Naranja Academy before his class began.
  • Luo Mu gathered the fifteen students on the School Field and started roll call, asking them to introduce their Starter Pokémon.
  • Luo Mu called the first student's name: Erichis.

Ch. 71First Lesson: Let's Start with Practical Battle Training!

Luo Mu introduced his Battle Studies class and paired the students for practical battles, assigning Arven to face Poliwhirl. After Luo Mu left to observe the other matches, Poliwhirl battled Mabosstiff on its own and opened with a combination of Mist, Bubble Beam, and Brick Break.

  • Luo Mu called roll, learned the students’ names and Starter Pokémon, and sorted them by battle experience.
  • Luo Mu explained that his lessons would emphasize practical training and arranged several student battles, pairing Arven with himself.
  • Arven protested being matched against Luo Mu, but Luo Mu sent out his recently evolved Poliwhirl and left it to battle Mabosstiff without his commands.
  • Poliwhirl endured Mabosstiff’s Snarl, used Bubble Beam to obscure its vision, and struck it with Brick Break.

Ch. 72Ortega's Provocation

Luo Mu reviewed the students’ battles and began addressing their weaknesses, but Ortega insulted him and threatened to have him fired. Luo Mu responded by freezing Ortega’s allowance, leaving the spoiled student facing the academy’s free lunch.

  • Arven lost to the cunning Poliwhirl, and Pina defeated Ortega when Pawniard struck Fidough with Metal Claw.
  • Luo Mu praised Pawniard’s battle rhythm but told Pina that his conservative commands had disrupted it, then took Pina’s phone number to discuss the issue later.
  • Luo Mu criticized Ortega’s lack of enthusiasm for battling, and Ortega insulted him, Pina, and Pippa while threatening to get Luo Mu fired.
  • Luo Mu stopped Nemona from intervening, then used his phone to freeze Ortega’s allowance.

Ch. 73Four New Partners

Luo Mu punished Ortega for insulting his classmates, then returned to the farm to introduce its new Pokémon. He welcomed Fidough, Smoliv, and Mudbray, with the introduction of the new arrivals still underway.

  • Luo Mu disabled Ortega's bank card after Ortega insulted Pippa and Pina, then finished class and left Naranja Academy.
  • Mu Fei told Luo Mu that Ortega's father had given him full authority to discipline Ortega and approved his decision.
  • Luo Mu returned to the farm on Dragonite and gathered the Pokémon to welcome four new members.
  • Luo Mu introduced Fidough, which nervously hid against him, and Smoliv, which went to join the Eldegoss.
  • Luo Mu introduced Mudbray as the Ranch Area's first Pokémon and explained that it could learn Rototiller to improve the soil.

Ch. 74Growlithe Gets a Sidekick

Luo Mu helped Mudbray settle into a muddy home and saw Smoliv begin bonding with the Eldegoss. Back inside, he discovered Fidough following Growlithe around and wondered how the pair had become so close.

  • Luo Mu introduced Mudbray and Milcery to the farm Pokémon, and Dragonite eagerly approached Milcery after hearing it could make cream for desserts.
  • Luo Mu took Mudbray and Swampert through the Ranch Area, where Mudbray chose a spot beside the Lake Area for its mud patch.
  • Swampert used water to turn Mudbray’s softened soil into a small muddy swamp, and Mudbray happily began playing in its new home.
  • Luo Mu saw Smoliv anxiously following the three Eldegoss, and one Eldegoss gave up its flowerpot so Smoliv could rest in it.
  • Luo Mu went to find an extra flowerpot, then noticed Fidough following Growlithe and wondered why it had left Luxray’s care to become Growlithe’s tagalong.

Ch. 75Spring Planting (4K)

Luo Mu settled Smoliv and Milcery into their new home before spending the next day working with his Pokémon on spring planting. After a tiring day and calls with his students, he began his final call, to Arven.

  • Luo Mu scolded Growlithe for destroying his slippers, then prepared a flowerpot for Smoliv and calmed the Eldegosses who wanted head pats.
  • Luo Mu stopped Dragonite and Serperior from fighting over Milcery’s cream-covered toast, split it among them, and chose a kitchen cabinet as Milcery’s temporary home.
  • Luo Mu studied a book about Pokémon psychological trauma before going to bed with Growlithe and other Pokémon keeping him warm.
  • Luo Mu woke early, gave Pokémon Food to the Pokémon, and began spring planting, assigning Swampert to help Mudbray prepare fertile soil for berry tree saplings.
  • After planting less than a quarter of the farmland in a day, Luo Mu rested through a Serperior massage and called his students about their training.
  • Luo Mu finished a lengthy call with Nemona and reflected on her battle talent before dialing Arven.

Ch. 76Braviary

Luo Mu persuaded Arven to improve as a Trainer by promising to take him to the Paldea Great Pit to meet Professor Sada and Professor Turo. The next day, Luo Mu spotted an exhausted Braviary carrying an unconscious man and sent Dragonite and Serperior to slow their fall.

  • Luo Mu called Arven and bluntly explained that Mabosstiff had lost to Poliwhirl because of Arven's poor command skills.
  • Luo Mu convinced Arven to study seriously by promising to take him to the Paldea Great Pit to meet Professor Sada and Professor Turo.
  • The next day, Luo Mu worked in his fields and spotted a wobbling Flying Pokémon approaching.
  • Luo Mu rode Dragonite toward the Pokémon and saw it was an exhausted Braviary carrying an unconscious man in its talons.
  • As Braviary and the man began to fall, Luo Mu ordered Dragonite to use wind to slow them, and Serperior lashed vines toward them.

Ch. 77Kukui

Luo Mu rescued Kukui and Braviary after a typhoon left them exhausted near Los Platos, and Kukui woke after three days to find his Pokémon safe and helping on Luo Mu’s farm. Kukui identified himself as a professor from Alola and began explaining how the storm struck them while they were flying across the sea.

  • Serperior caught the falling Braviary and Kukui, and Luo Mu brought them inside and treated Kukui’s dehydration and exhaustion.
  • Kukui woke in Luo Mu’s house and recognized Dragonite, who kept him from getting out of bed.
  • Nurse Joy examined Kukui and told Luo Mu to give him small amounts of liquid food as he recovered.
  • Luo Mu told Kukui that Braviary and his other Pokémon were safe, and that he had unlocked their Poké Balls so they could recover.
  • Kukui introduced himself as a professor from Alola and said that he and Braviary had encountered a terrifying typhoon while flying across the sea.

Ch. 78The Face of a Capitalist

After Kukui recovered from the typhoon and woke at Luo Mu’s farm, Luo Mu explained that he had cared for Kukui’s Pokémon and fed Snorlax. Kukui saw his Pokémon working across the farm and, grateful to Luo Mu, began considering how to repay him.

  • Luo Mu questioned how Kukui had survived the typhoon at sea, and Kukui explained that his Pokémon could not help him dive beneath the waves.
  • Luo Mu told Kukui he had cared for his Pokémon while Kukui was unconscious, and Dragonite returned Kukui’s cleaned backpack with the important items intact.
  • Kukui learned that Snorlax’s Energy Cubes were gone and offered to pay for the food his Pokémon had eaten, but Luo Mu declined compensation because they had helped with farm work.
  • Kukui ate rice porridge slowly under Dragonite’s watch and asked to look outside from his bed.
  • Kukui saw his Pokémon helping with the spring planting, waved to them as he regained his strength, and resolved to find a way to repay Luo Mu.

Ch. 79Kukui's Farm Observations

As he recovered at Luo Mu's farm, Kukui observed its Pokémon and came to recognize Luo Mu as a powerful Trainer who had built a warm life with them. Kukui decided he could repay Luo Mu by teaching his Grass-type Pokémon a special form of Grassy Terrain from Alola.

  • Kukui began walking around the farm and watched Luo Mu's Pokémon work the fields and train.
  • Kukui learned about Growlithe's rapid progress with Rock-type moves and judged it to be a promising battler.
  • Dragonite carried Kukui back to the house when he tired, where Kukui observed Luo Mu's main Pokémon, including Moltres.
  • Kukui decided to help Luo Mu by sharing a special Grassy Terrain technique he knew from Alola.

Ch. 80Aerial Race

After Luo Mu held a feast for the Pokémon at Luo Mu Farm, Kukui explained how Royal Battles had shaped Incineroar’s skills. Braviary and Dragonite raced through the sky, with Moltres reluctantly joining and finishing last.

  • Luo Mu hosted a feast to reward the Pokémon, and Kukui praised Ceruledge’s cooking while Incineroar and Swampert wrestled.
  • Kukui told Luo Mu that Incineroar was his Starter Pokémon and had honed its fighting skills in Alola’s Royal Battles.
  • Braviary challenged Dragonite to a flying race, and Luo Mu insisted that Moltres join them.
  • Kukui’s Lucario started the race with an Aura Sphere, and Dragonite, Braviary, and an awkwardly airborne Moltres took off.
  • Dragonite finished first, Braviary came in more than a dozen body lengths behind, and Moltres brought up the rear.
