Background / History

Xiao Wu entered Notting Junior Soul Master Academy and immediately established herself as the strongest student in Dormitory Seven. After defeating Wang Sheng, she claimed the dormitory leadership and declared herself “Sister Xiao Wu”; Su Xiao and Tang San accepted her position. She also attempted to attack Su Xiao during their tense first meeting. 6

She formed a close sibling-like bond with Tang San. Tang San noted that Xiao Wu liked him and wanted to recognize him as her big brother, while their partnership later became the “Three-Five Combination” in the Soto Grand Soul Arena's doubles competition. 7 22

During Shrek Academy's entrance examination, Xiao Wu fought alongside Su Xiao, Tang San, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong against Zhao Wuji. When her Charm failed against Zhao Wuji and caused backlash, she collapsed; later, she pushed Tang San away from danger and was seriously injured herself. 15 16

In the Star Dou Great Forest, the Titan Giant Ape Er Ming appeared and took Xiao Wu away. The group could not harm the 100,000-Year Soul Beast, and Xiao Wu pretended to be captured to restore peace to the forest. Tang San pursued her despite the danger. 30

Xiao Wu later separated from Tang San again after Tang Hao warned that Titled Douluo could discover their identities. She left with Nangong Yu, accepting the need to protect Tang San and the others. 105

She was eventually found alive at the Lake of Life under Er Ming's protection. Tang San and Su Xiao planned and carried out a rescue operation when the Martial Soul Hall hunted the soul beasts of the Star Dou Great Forest. 121

When Tang San was critically injured by Angel and Rakshasa divine powers, Xiao Wu chose to sacrifice herself as his Asura Sword Sheath. Xiao Wu is proud, assertive, and quick to establish dominance, as shown by her takeover of Dormitory Seven and her self-proclaimed title of “Sister Xiao Wu.” 6
