Anke lowered his head and glanced at the address plaque below.
South 16th Street, No. 55. No problem.
He looked again at the walls rising around the building ahead, the automated cannons slowly rotating atop them, the towering watchtowers, and the guards standing watch on those towers.
He paused. "Old man, did you get the address wrong?"
"No," He Ao said directly. "But the exact location probably isn't in a building like this. Walk around these buildings toward the back."
Anke glanced at the wall once more, then continued forward along it.
Soon, he reached the rear of the wall.
There, beside it, a somewhat classical building connected directly to the wall came into view, decorated extensively with solid wood.
Its sign glowed a rosy pink:
[Classical Harmony Club]
"This looks like..." Anke looked at the pink sign, then at the people going in and out of the building. He paused. "A strip club?"
He turned his gaze and looked at the nearby wall.
The wall connected to the entrance of the classical building, vaguely enclosing the entire structure within its perimeter.
"A strip club," Anke clicked his tongue, "inside the City Defense Army command center? That's one hell of a business."
"This should be the place," He Ao agreed. "Let's go in."
"Wait?" Anke froze. "This is the Witch Church headquarters?"
Then he looked at the rosy pink sign and thought of the twin-tailed girl. "A Witch Church... actually makes sense."
"That Witch Cultist said they had temporarily moved their headquarters here," He Ao said slowly. "It should be right."
"But there are sentries at the door." Anke turned to look at the two guards standing before the club entrance.
"People are going in all around us." He Ao swept his gaze over the crowd flowing in and out.
