"Supplies?" He Ao looked at old Danny beside him. "Does the city still have enough?"

"Thanks to the strategy you set," old Danny said slowly, "Kaya City has stockpiled a great deal of war matériel. We have plenty of ammunition and weapons, and our warehouses are full of mechs. That should sustain us for a while. Our factories can also produce all kinds of weapons."

He looked at He Ao and continued quietly, "As long as we can get enough raw materials, we can keep producing them. But the war has cut off our supply routes. Consortium troops have stopped the ore from Rock City, and the energy route from Wente City is down too. We've stored plenty of energy, but we can't produce these raw materials ourselves."

"What about food?" He Ao asked.

"We've built two massive food factories," old Danny said. "That's because your strategy was sound," old Danny said. "We should thank Christos too. If Dawn City hadn't drawn their fire at the front, we couldn't have developed this steadily. Still, we haven't quite reached what we'd hoped for. The war broke out too soon. Give us a little more time, and we'd be in much better shape."
