Hearing the three describe the entire process of Dumbledore's Army's founding, Albert was not particularly surprised. Harry and Hermione had both matured considerably under his influence compared to the original story, and Dolores Umbridge and the Ministry of Magic had successfully made everyone hate them. Dumbledore's Army would surely prove even more useful and train more students skilled in Defense Against the Dark Arts.
The only thing that surprised Albert was how seriously Hermione took the Self-Defense Guide.
To be honest, the Self-Defense Guide had been one of Albert's earliest drafts. After making further progress in Defense Against the Dark Arts, he had revised it.
Isabelle was still helping organize it now. The Self-Defense Guide had actually been produced from those discarded drafts at Isabelle's suggestion. In Isabelle's own words: this was something people could actually read.
"The Wizard Cards Club is being suspended?"
Lee Jordan looked deeply conflicted upon hearing Albert's words. Though he had long expected this day to come, he had never imagined it would arrive so soon. School had not even been in session for a month!

Albert was slowly helping Umbridge build up enough resentment against her. He was quite curious about when Hogwarts students would finally be unable to endure Umbridge's oppression any longer and erupt completely from their silence.
