"What on earth are you playing at?"
Having just finished running laps around the Quidditch Pitch and exhausted to the point of collapse, Harry and the Weasley twins were summoned to Professor McGonagall's office for a scolding. What had happened earlier had clearly infuriated her.
"We weren't playing at anything, Professor."
It took George a moment to steady his breathing. The Vitality Tonic he had taken had really come in handy.
"Not playing at anything?" Professor McGonagall was trembling with rage. She slammed a hand onto the desk with a loud bang. "You nearly caused utter chaos."
"We didn't cause it," Fred corrected after taking a deep breath.
"Professor, perhaps you need a Calming Draught." Harry pulled a bottle from the pocket of his outer robe, tipped one pill into his own hand, then asked the other two, "Want one?"
"No, thanks."
"I think we're perfectly calm."
"I think you'd better take one," Harry suggested.
"What?" Professor McGonagall looked rather stunned.
"Calming Draught." Fred took the bottle and poured one pill each for himself and George.
"What are you doing?" Professor McGonagall became even more furious as she looked at the three of them, all infuriatingly composed.
"Taking Calming Draughts, Professor. We've kept ourselves restrained all along, so it isn't about what we want to do. You should ask what Slytherin wants to do." Fred handed the bottle back to Harry.
"Malfoy provoked us first and insulted our parents." George shrugged. "You can't expect us to be unmoved by that."
"Provoked you?" Professor McGonagall roared. "But you didn't let Madam Hooch handle it."
"They even made up those insulting songs. Madam Hooch obviously couldn't deal with that sort of problem," Fred cut in. "So please don't make things difficult for Madam Hooch."
