After parting with Albert in the stands, the troubled Hermione hurried to the Gryffindor team's changing room, intending to talk to Harry about the Liquid Luck.
Actually, pretending she knew nothing might have been the best choice, but Hermione still wanted to discuss it with Harry.
Just as she drew a deep breath and prepared to speak, Ron beside her spoke first. "What are you going to do, report us?"
Hermione froze for a moment. Without looking at Ron, she stared directly at Harry and asked, "Did you give Ron Liquid Luck?"
"Oh, that."
Harry's lips curled up happily. He pulled a small bottle from his pocket, gave it a gentle shake, and explained with a smile, "It's actually one of Fred and George's new products. It has a slight calming effect and can keep people in a cheerful mood. You can think of it as pills specially made for people who get nervous easily."
After saying that, Harry handed the bottle to Hermione, then turned to Ron. "It wasn't Liquid Luck that helped you save those goals. You did that entirely through your own ability. Your only problem is that you get nervous too easily and don't have enough confidence in yourself, which makes you perform badly. So I could only use this method to help you regain your confidence. The facts prove that it works really well."
"You really didn't give me a luck potion?" Ron was utterly shocked, unable to believe what he had just heard.
"Of course not. You should have confidence in yourself." Harry smiled and patted Ron on the shoulder. Turning to Hermione, he said, "If you still don't believe me, take one yourself and you'll know. You'll find they really are different."
