"Sirius just contacted me."

George pushed open the door and entered the room, looking at Albert, who was flipping through parchment behind his desk.

"Oh, what did he want with me?" Albert asked, though he already knew the answer.

"You really are calm about this!" George gave a helpless bitter smile. He did not believe Albert could not guess the reason.

"What else was I supposed to do?" Albert set down the parchment and looked up. "I've already done everything I should and could do."

"They still haven't found Professor Bubage's exact whereabouts."

George had actually long guessed Albert's attitude toward the matter. If Albert had truly been willing to help, he would have helped look for her instead of sitting there chatting with him.

What Albert had just said was practically a direct declaration that Professor Bubage's life or death had nothing to do with him.

No one was willing to pay for someone else's mistakes. Albert's willingness to make a prediction for them was already out of consideration for what little friendship they had once shared.

"Can't find her? There's nothing much I can do either. Crystal Ball Divination is like that. Sometimes it really is difficult to extract the information you need from the images revealed by a prophecy."

Albert was not surprised in the least. If Crystal Ball Divination were really that powerful, Divination would not be so widely questioned.
