A string of roars came from the office of the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and Yaxley was so furious that he overturned his desk.
He had just received word that another secret stronghold concealing a large number of Inferi had been destroyed by the Defense Association. Not a single Inferius stored there had survived.
That had been the work of many Dark Wizards over several days, only for it to be destroyed by those people from the Defense Association. Not only had all the Inferi been wiped out, but the other side had even deliberately set the place on fire. It was practically a blatant provocation.
If he could, he truly wanted to kill every last one of them.
Unfortunately, Yaxley could not do it. He was powerless to stop them.
While Voldemort was away from England, even the Death Eaters had to keep their heads down, because no one was a match for that Mudblood.
Even with a carefully arranged ambush, Yaxley did not believe they could kill that Mudblood. The other party was a Master of Prophecy, after all, and countless examples had proven that he was exceedingly difficult to ambush.
If Yaxley truly did that, he might instead bring disaster upon himself.
In the past, every Death Eater who had tried to kill that man had met an especially miserable end. Malfoy and Lestrange were the best examples. Perhaps Snape would become the next unlucky bastard.
Yaxley truly had no desire to court that misfortune.
He knew very well that this was a dangerous existence even the Dark Lord had been unable to kill, a monstrous genius said to surpass Dumbledore.
Most importantly, he was still very young and could continue his rapid growth. In a few more
