Staring at the message on the communication bookmark, Albert fell silent for a moment, considering whether to respond to the stranger on the other end.

If it were Babajide, he would never have sent this message unless his head had just been caught in a door.

"Why do you say that?"

After hesitating for a moment, Albert raised his wand and altered the words on the communication bookmark, replying as the other party wished.

"Wasn't The Dark Lord defeating the International Confederation of Wizards something you had anticipated long ago?"

The other person seemed to have been waiting for him. Not long after Albert replied, another message appeared, as though they could not wait to discuss something with him.

"Anticipated? No, you think too highly of me."

After the words on the communication bookmark vanished, new ones quickly emerged.

"Even I did not expect the International Confederation of Wizards to be so utterly vulnerable, defeated so easily by The Dark Lord."

"This isn't my fault!"

The owner of the other half of the communication bookmark seemed quite furious. "I warned them, but they simply wouldn't listen..."

"I know you aren't Babajide. You did not even mention the code we agreed on beforehand."

"I am Babajide, and we never agreed on a code," the person said with great certainty.

"Indeed, there was no code. What do you want from me?"

"I hope you can help me."

"I'm afraid that will be difficult."

"I know this has something to do with you. Don't think you can wash your hands of it. You have to help me."

It sounded more like a threat.

But Albert never took it seriously, because he had already determined that the fellow was not Babajide at
