As they watched the vast number of Inferi pouring into Hogwarts through breaches all around, the Aurors' expressions turned grim. Even though they had received Albert's warning and had long prepared themselves mentally, the sight before them still filled everyone stationed in the castle with fury.
It was unclear whether they were angry at the Death Eaters' wanton slaughter of Muggles, or at their despicable use of vast numbers of Inferi on the battlefield.
"Judging by the size of that horde, there must be at least a thousand. This is going to be troublesome."
"That's actually only a small portion of what you can see. There are still huge numbers of Inferi that haven't been gathered in time."
Albert remained very calm. Ever since discovering that the Death Eaters were creating large numbers of Inferi, he had anticipated this day.
"You should be glad we caught them off guard. Otherwise, Hogwarts would probably be facing the siege of tens of thousands of Inferi."
The Aurors all looked at Albert in surprise, curious how he intended to deal with the Inferi. "Get ready. We'll deal with a batch of them first!" Albert suddenly said to the Aurors.
"No problem, but dealing with these Inferi alone will be enough to wear us out. And I doubt they'll just stand by and watch us clear them away." The Aurors had already raised their wands, aiming at the swarm of Inferi frantically flooding in through the breaches.
"No, your targets are the Dark Wizards. They're gathering near the edge of the Forbidden Forest. I'm planning to give them a big surprise first."
