Come to think of it, Astronomy was a rather unusual subject. There was no standard textbook; students only needed to bring a telescope, quill, and parchment to class.

They were climbing the spiraling staircase upward, and no one knew how many floors they had passed. Everyone felt inexplicably dizzy, their breathing growing hurried from the exertion.
"What floor are we on?" Aaliyah asked, gasping for breath.
"The eighth floor." George raised a hand and pointed to a portrait of a Drunk Knight beside them, smiling as he introduced it to the others. "The last time Fred and I came here, we saw that guy get drunk, fall headfirst into the river, and nearly drown."
"How could someone in a painting possibly drown?" Angelina could not help pointing out.
"Who says they can't? Look closely!" Fred winked mischievously at everyone, cupped his hands around his mouth, and shouted at the Drunk Knight's portrait, "Ah!"
Then, a scene that left everyone dumbfounded unfolded before them. The Drunk Knight in the painting seemed startled by the shout. He suddenly panicked and began running about wildly, before finally falling into a river in the painting next door.
The Drunk Knight splashed twice in the water before sinking beneath the river. The woman in the neighboring painting hurriedly called for help, trying to fish him out.
Everyone stared at the scene in shock, mouths hanging open.
Before long, they had no choice but to quicken their pace upward. Fred's strange cry had angered several nearby portraits, and they all glared displeasedly at Albert's group.
