Harry's transfer had gone smoothly. After receiving Snape's urgent report, Voldemort had little interest in ambushing Harry Potter halfway there. Mainly, there had not been enough time, and Voldemort did not have many reliable helpers at his side; the Death Eaters all had their own assignments.
Besides, revealing that he was still alive now would have been more trouble than it was worth for Voldemort.
Cornelius Fudge had completely fallen out with Dumbledore over whether Voldemort was still alive, and had been working tirelessly to cause Dumbledore trouble.
Having Minister for Magic Fudge tie up Dumbledore's attention was undoubtedly more in Voldemort's interests. Moreover, before learning what was inside the Prophecy Orb, Voldemort had no plans to move against Harry Potter for the time being. He intended to use this period to gather strength and restore his former power.
With no interference from Voldemort, Harry arrived safely at 12 Grimmauld Place.
At that moment, the young Boy Who Lived was pouring out all the grievances, unease, and anger he had endured over the summer to his two friends.
"Hello, Harry."
After thoughtfully waiting outside until Harry had finished complaining to his friends, Fred and George suddenly Apparated into the room, deliberately giving him a fright.
"We heard your lovely little speech," Fred said with a broad grin.
"Why are you all at Sirius's house?" Harry asked in confusion.
"Sirius lent this place to Dumbledore as the Order of the Phoenix's temporary headquarters," Ron said with a smile. "My family has moved here to stay for now."
"What's the Order of the Phoenix?" Harry turned to Hermione.
"It's an organization founded by Dumbledore specifically to oppose Voldemort," Hermione explained.
"So, you've all joined the Order of the Phoenix?" Harry muttered unhappily. "Am I the only one being kept in the dark?"
