Honeydukes had come out with a new kind of sweet: an edible quill.

Made of white chocolate, it solved the little problem of people who habitually chewed their quill tips whenever they ran into a difficult question.

Now that she was in Hogsmeade, Pomona naturally had to "replenish" her stockpile. Fortunately, exam week had left many young wizards with no mood to wander around Hogsmeade, so she got out easily enough.

Severus was waiting for her outside. Perhaps he had gone to the owl post office while she shopped; a few owl feathers clung to his black robes.

But considering the post office was right across from Honeydukes, perhaps some feather-shedding owl had accidentally brushed against him.

"What are you looking at?" Pomona followed his gaze. There were few young wizards on the street, mostly adult wizards, unless Harry Potter had lent his Invisibility Cloak to someone else again.

"Sybill Trelawney." Severus stared at the back of a woman staggering as she walked. "She looked very unhappy just now, like she wanted to drown her sorrows in drink."

Sybill was heading toward the Three Broomsticks. Since Aberforth had lent the Hog's Head to Ernie Macmillan as a classroom for teaching Expecto Patronum, the Three Broomsticks was probably Sybill's only choice if she wanted to get drunk.

"Should we follow her?" Pomona asked.

"Are you in a hurry?" Severus asked.

She considered it. In truth, her mind was completely blank.

"Butterbeer is a little too warm for summer, though a bit of sherry would actually be quite nice," Pomona said.

So they turned midway and headed for the Three Broomsticks.
