Les Invalides was on the opposite bank of the Seine. Severus flew there from the Louvre Museum in just one minute.
The moment his feet touched the ground inside Les Invalides, Gong Saiyi Apparated as well.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Gong Saiyi raised both hands to block Severus's path.
"Move." Severus said impatiently.
"You caused such a huge commotion... Do you want to expose the wizarding world?" Gong Saiyi said helplessly.
"Move!" Severus enunciated each word.

Severus had no intention of answering Gong Saiyi's question. He headed straight for Napoleon's tomb.
Though it was called a tomb, it was more like a lavish Baroque building, with a magnificent gilded roof and sculptures on its facade. Aside from a few idle security guards, it was essentially unguarded.
"Your wife..."
Before Gong Saiyi could finish, Severus's glare frightened him into silence.
"Are you planning to destroy Napoleon's tomb?" Gong Saiyi asked uneasily.
Snape did not answer. His black robes trailing behind him, he hurried up the steps.
"Don't you and your wife have any other way to contact each other?" Gong Saiyi asked from behind him.
Snape stopped and took out the crystal ball again. There was no reaction inside it.
"I gave her a ring," he said, staring at the crystal ball. Then he took out a golden object resembling a lady's compact, except it held no powder, only something like a compass.
"What is that?" Gong Saiyi asked.
Severus ignored him. He used the compass to check the direction, but its needle still pointed toward the Louvre Museum.
"That Muggle!" Severus cursed under his breath and prepared to fly away again.
"Don't go over there now!" Gong Saiyi grabbed Severus's arm. "Aurors are everywhere over there!"
