Severus placed a large crate of potions bottled in glass and crystal containers of various colors before Pomona.
"What are these?" she asked, pointing at the bottles and jars on the floor.
"The Regeneration Potion you wanted," he said impatiently.
"Why are they like this?" she said in surprise. The usual Regeneration Potions were all bottled in identical crystal vials.
"Made by students," he said with disgust, tugging at his robes as he prepared to leave the greenhouse.
"Wait!" Pomona called after him. "Who upset you?"
He stood with his back to her and did not answer.
"Was it because of Harry Potter?" she asked calmly. "When the next term begins, if he receives his acceptance letter, he'll be starting school, won't he?"
He strode away, the gust stirred up by his movement spreading his cloak like a bat's wings.
Pomona watched his retreating figure and shook her head. "It'll be summer soon, and he's still wearing so much."
Then she bent down and picked up a bottle of student-made Regeneration Potion from the crate. She could not shake the feeling that its color differed from the usual kind. It was not green, but emerald green. If she sprayed this "Regeneration Potion" on them, would it poison her seeds to death instead?
Tilden Toots had also attended the banquet at Greta Manor. Just as Severus had said, he had made a fortune selling potions and even had his own radio program. Yet he had no idea that the Regeneration Potion and Reviving Potion he promoted over the radio had already been deciphered by a young Potions master, who was even teaching students how to brew them in class.
