After taking some food, Tina and Pomona left the venue together.
Besides Janice's perfume, the venue was filled with many other scents, all mingling into a chaotic smell that was as headache-inducing as the noisy crowd.
"Hagrid!" Pomona shouted.

"You must be the student who was expelled, just like my husband," Tina said. "I heard you were the one responsible for bringing the Sorcerer's Stone back to Hogwarts."

"No, he was allowed to keep his wand," Tina said as she chewed. "Unlike your umbrella."
Hagrid instinctively tried to hide his umbrella.
"How did you know?" Hagrid asked warily.
"I used to work in the Wand Registration Office, back when I was an Auror."
"You must have seen plenty of ways to hide wands," Pomona said, taking a sandwich herself.
"America regulates wands far more strictly than Europe. Your children can actually take their wands out of school," Tina said.
"But we still have laws governing underage wizards. They're tracked by the Trace," Pomona said.
"Speaking of tracking, were you followed when you transported the Sorcerer's Stone?" Tina asked Hagrid.
