"Here, have some chocolate, Pomona."

Frank handed her a piece of chocolate. Why was he giving her sweets for no reason?

"No, thank you," she said listlessly, feeling utterly exhausted, as if she had completely run herself dry.

"You'll feel much better after eating some," Frank insisted. So she took the unwrapped sweet and put it in her mouth.

The warm, sweet sensation spreading from her tongue soothed her emotions, but when she tasted it carefully, it was not chocolate at all. It tasted more like hellebore syrup.

It was a Calming Draught. She had drunk a potion—but if Neville had brewed it, would she sleep forever?

"Don't worry, I brewed it," said a gentle male voice. Reassured, she drank it without hesitation. Wherever the potion flowed, her agitation faded away.

Besides hellebore syrup, a Calming Draught also contained moonstone. She looked up at the moon. It seemed large and round, but was it full?

"Don't worry, he'll understand," Frank comforted her, though the reassurance did not sound especially sincere.
