What could one do with an hour in Vienna?

Although Pomona loved good food, she had no intention of wasting that time looking for something to eat.

If they went to visit Schönbrunn Palace, even Apparition would not leave them enough time. It was also too late to attend a concert.

Severus had no interest in "tourism" whatsoever. He would accompany her wherever she wanted to go, but if she asked where he wanted to go, he could not name a single place. Fortunately, a stranger soon solved that problem.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. and Mrs. Smith?"

After the train arrived at Vienna Station, a young man in formal attire asked the two of them as they stepped onto the platform.

"And you are?" Pomona asked cautiously.

"I am Mr. Lorraine's secretary, John Muller." He handed Severus a business card. "Sir asked me to wait here for the two of you."

"Is Mr. Lorraine an archduke?" Pomona asked bluntly.

John lowered his head and smiled without answering.

"I believe that is someone else's private matter, my dear. Wouldn't you agree, John?" Severus said slickly after reading the card.

"Sir asked me to express his gratitude to you both." Ignoring Severus's teasing, John continued with a smile.

He was a very handsome young man, with chestnut hair and rosy cheeks. He looked exceptionally healthy.

"Thank you both for saving his life."

"It was nothing." Severus spoke coldly. "Is there anything else?"

"I heard from your doctor that you are going to Venice?"

"That's right," Pomona answered, only to receive a glare from Severus.

"In that case, since there is still an hour before your train departs, why not rest at Mr. Lorraine's residence?"

"Thank you for the kind offer..."

"I believe you are attending the carnival. Is Madam's gown ready?"
