Honkai, but I have too many mods
Author: YueYueYue
Synopsis:
(Already has a completed two-million-word book "Honkai, but a Spirit Simulator")
(Stitched-together, semi-original worldview)
Transmigrated into the game with mods, started in hell, and have a heavily injured beautiful girl by my side—what should I do?
--Hmm... first, let me look for some usable mods?
But I have too many Honkai and Genshin character mods installed.
--Use your invincible laboratory to think of a solution! Right now, immediately!
Watching the scene before him of Acheron battling Mei, and Seele bullying Seele, As the leader of Schicksal, leader of Anti-Entropy, Serpent's Master, president of the Liyue Merchant Guild, owner of Mondstadt's Bar, leader of the Inazuma Group, Librarian of Sumeru, and Director of the Fontaine Opera House, Liu Bai's state of mind was as calm as water.
It is time to use the hypnosis mod on them.
--Who told them they were all willing to be hypnotized anyway?
Chapter 1: Transmigration, but starting off being carried by a heavily injured beautiful girl
Welcome to the Honkai Mega Modpack
The contents of this modpack are as follows:
1. Replaces the original game's main organizations and characters with those from the Honkai series, such as Schicksal, Anti-Entropy, and World Serpent. Original monsters and enemies are replaced by Honkai Beasts, Zombies, etc., and corresponding skills have been added (this may cause the early game difficulty to be too high).
(1.17 Update: Added the Honkai faction, which can be joined by becoming infected with Honkai in-game.)
(2.25 Update: Added the hidden faction Moth to Flame; please explore the method of contact on your own.)
2. Replaced map buildings to enhance player immersion.
3. Overwrote the original game's plot; players can experience parts of the Honkai storyline within this mod.
4. Added special maps "Sea of Quanta" and "Imaginary Tree." Players can travel to the aforementioned maps by progressing through the story. Note: The stat requirements for these maps are quite high.
5. Added Genshin series easter eggs:
Added the new faction Mondstadt's Bar, replacing the original game's bar and updating the character art, as well as adding several special drinks;
Added the Liyue Merchant Guild faction, replacing the original in-game shop, updated character portraits, and added several mod-exclusive items.
Added the Inazuma Group faction, replacing the original in-game shrine, updated character portraits, and added several new prayer effects.
Added the Sumeru Library faction, replacing the original library, updated character portraits, and added additional Genshin-themed skill books.
Added the Fontaine Opera House faction, replacing the original grand theater, updated character portraits, and added several new performances.
(2.14 Update: Tentatively adapted a small portion of Genshin plotlines with corresponding starting scenarios. May trigger bugs in the main storyline; can be disabled in mod settings.)
(2.28 Update: Added the Serenitea Pot item, replacing the starting inventory and providing a customizable large-scale base.)
(2.29 Update: Added several Genshin-themed monsters. Stats have been balanced, feel free to use.)
6. Provides players with a Gacha Machine at the start. It contains various mod items and equipment. The prize pool can be customized, and it rotates immediately upon being emptied. Special items can be used for pulls (Note: 80 pulls for the soft pity, 160 pulls for the hard pity). Gacha prizes have been stat-balanced, so enjoy without worry.
(2.8 Update: Added a character banner. Easter egg characters from Star Rail have been added to the Gacha Machine. The pity mechanism is 90 pulls for the soft pity and 180 pulls for the hard pity—probabilities are fully adapted.)
(2.13 Update: Added various character-themed skins for the Gacha Machine.)
(2.21 Update: Added the special "Stellaron Crisis" storyline. By default, the Stellaron fall event will occur one year after the game starts. Detailed adjustments can be made in the mod settings. Note: This event is extremely difficult and highly likely to cause save corruption in the early to mid-game. Please choose carefully.)
For the specific content of this mod, please experience it within the game.
Please note that this mod conflicts with the vast majority of other character and story mods, though it is compatible with most functional or item mods. Please place this mod at the very top of your load order.
Due to the frequent recent updates, please start a new save file to run it.
"Finally, put the pose mods here. No errors, okay, it's ready to run."
Liu Bai did a final check of the mod load order—World City, a game where you buy the game and get the mods for free.
The base game features a very cliché plot about magical girls fighting monsters in a massive city. The overall quality is questionable, but it has an extremely open modding interface, to the point where, with a little bit of learning, you can create any mod you want.
What Liu Bai is preparing to play right now is a large-scale mod centered around Honkai.
In addition to this core mod, there are two or three hundred other mods.
Start game.
With a familiar boarding sound effect and background music, the game's setup interface appeared before Liu Bai.
Character name: to increase immersion, it is of course Liu Bai.
Gender: male.
Starting script... there are so many.
Liu Bai raised an eyebrow, looking at the several options provided in the mod.
Main Quest Scripts:
[Schicksal (Low Difficulty) -- A faction with the core mission of opposing the Honkai. Its primary combat force consists of Valkyries. Female characters are guaranteed to start with the status of a rookie Valkyrie.]
[Anti-Entropy (Medium Difficulty) -- A faction that also opposes the Honkai but is at odds with Schicksal. Its primary combat force consists of various mechs. Characters have a small chance of starting as a scientist's assistant.]
[World Serpent (High Difficulty) -- A secretive organization opposing the Honkai with its own unique goals. Characters are guaranteed to start as a low-level combatant.]
Casual Scripts:
[Mondstadt's Bar -- A relaxed game focused on running a bar. You are guaranteed to start as the "new boss of the bar."]
[Liyue Merchant Guild -- Focused on running a shop...]
The subsequent options were basically all casual, non-main quest starts. These kinds of starts are just management games and involve absolutely no combat.
The start determines a character's initial resources and spawn location. Some special items are difficult to obtain through means other than the start—even if you choose to betray your faction in-game—though mods are an exception to this.
For this save... let's try World Serpent. After all, with the newly added hidden faction Moth to Flame, a World Serpent start should be a good way to experience that content...
Hm?
There's a new starting script?
[Special Script:
Extraterrestrial Visitor (Extremely High Difficulty, replaces the original "Nothing" script): You are an interstellar traveler who accidentally crashed onto Earth due to a flight accident. To this planet, you are undoubtedly an alien. The attitude of any faction toward you is impossible to determine. All your supplies were destroyed in the crash, leaving you with only the most basic clothing. You possess no advanced skills, and in the cabin, there is one other survivor who was traveling with you but is severely injured (random Star Rail character)]
As for the difficulty, it doesn't really matter—what does your "high difficulty" compared to the original version have to do with me, a mod player?
Do you think my other mods are just for show?
Game plot settings.
Default settings will do.
Stellaron Crisis... this is also a recently updated plot that Liu Bai hasn't experienced yet.
Game duration: one year... that's too long, let's change it to half a year. Liu Bai actually wants to see just how twisted this high difficulty, which is emphasized as having a save-corrupting level of challenge, really is.
Let's see if your difficulty is twisted or if I, a mod player, am better.
--Game Start
...Wait a second, where's my character customization?
Liu Bai, having pressed the start button, suddenly realized he might have overlooked something.
"Sir? Sir? Please wake up!"
Liu Bai was shaken awake by someone's frantic movements.
Opening his eyes, the first thing he saw was a silver-haired girl, her head bloodied and her face covered in gore.
Burning wreckage was visible everywhere, and the pungent scent of scorched materials constantly flooded his nostrils.
What is going on? Wasn't I just playing a game?
"You... I..." Liu Bai instinctively touched his forehead.
Blood.
And the way this person in front of him was dressed... Firefly?
The girl looked down at Liu Bai with eyes as stern as a warrior's.
"Sir! There's no time to explain, please follow me quickly."
Before Liu Bai could react, the woman who looked like Firefly had already grabbed his hand, pulled him up, and began dragging him away without a word.
[Illustrated Handbook mod has finished loading. Companion: Firefly entry unlocked.]
Chapter 2: Eat Some Weeds First
"Ha... ha... we... we made it out, right?"
In a small alleyway, Firefly hunched over, panting heavily.
"To think such a low-probability event like a plane crash would happen... we really are unlucky, sir—though also quite fortunate, as we were the only two survivors on the ship... but to crash on such an unexplored planet, it's almost like a prank by the Aeon of Elation, don't you think?"
Firefly wiped the blood from her face with her sleeve as she spoke.
Liu Bai watched the girl in front of him without answering immediately.
An extraterrestrial visitor, a plane crash, severely injured survivors.
It all matched.
This was the opening script for an extraterrestrial visitor.
You've got to be kidding me... I actually transmigrated?
[Liu Bai]
[Current Health Status: Blood Loss (Minor)]
[Estimated recovery in 10 hours]
[Firefly]
[Current Health Status: Blood Loss (Severe), Entropy Loss Syndrome (Mild), Bone Fractures (Wrist, Ribs...), Internal Organ Rupture...]
[Estimated time until death: 4 hours]
Bad news: I've transmigrated.
Good news: The mods still work.
Take this health check mod, for example. It allows me to confirm the health status of any unit anytime, anywhere. Reasonable treatment or targeted strikes can both yield significant extra benefits.
Firefly is expected to die in four hours?
Who plays like this—!
Didn't people say you might be Sam? Where's the mech? Where's the mech? Save yourself!
Fine, the mod can't possibly account for something as unknown as this—though the transmigration itself is already unknown enough.
But speaking of mods... Liu Bai remembered installing a few medical-related ones.
Regenerative Breathing?
No, that only works on myself.
Elixir of Love?
That's not a medical mod at all!
Dietary Therapy?
