"Boom!"

After the red banner disappeared from sight, the Witcher apprentice heard a deafening roar from the water, as if the sky had collapsed and the earth had shattered.

Immediately afterwards, the mud and sand at the bottom of Killer Lake were shaken up, and the blue light became much more turbid in an instant.

Countless undercurrents surged beneath the water, but the Witcher Apprentice felt nothing.

A moment later, the undercurrents reached the shallow part of the lake.

A raging storm!

The Witcher apprentice is like a lone boat on a vast ocean, tossed about by the waves, rising and falling.

The vibrations have been greatly reduced by the lake water.

As the Witcher Apprentice was swept ashore by the undercurrent, he saw boulders tumbling down the cliff face of a distant cave.

On the flat ground to the left of the cave, trees were shaking violently, and broken branches and leaves were flying everywhere.

The Cyclops, which was closer, was also thrown into a panic by the sudden tremor.

He covered his head with his hands, curled up in a ball, and lay trembling on the ground.

The tremors gradually subsided after about two or three minutes.

[Ding! Conjunction of the Spheres - Water Ghost Completed!]

Upon hearing the prompt, the Witcher apprentice slid his hands and feet to steady himself before emerging from the water.

He wanted to see what the Conjunction of the Spheres looked like.

Could that exquisite door really appear?

"Huh?"

"Why is there nothing here?"

Looking in the direction of the cave, Ailin was somewhat incredulous.

Yes, the Old Spearhead's hometown—the cave—was the location he chose for the Conjunction of the Spheres to occur.

But there was no portal there, nor even the expected Drowners King.

"Etc!"

There's something there!

Ailin squinted and stared intently at the several blue-skinned monsters lying in front of the cave.

It seems... to be a water ghost?

The Witcher's expression instantly turned sour.

It is indeed normal to summon water ghosts after the Conjunction of the Spheres in the world of water ghosts.

But if that's the case, how is he supposed to hunt down the Cyclops?

The defense of Kaer Morhen could occur at any moment, and he must improve his strength as soon as possible; hunting large monsters is the fastest way to do so.

However.

There are many large monsters in this world, but none are as easy to find or as suitable for beginners to hunt as Old Spearhead.

Moreover, Ailin could only kill Old Spearhead during the Trial of the Mountains.

After passing the trial, the Witcher apprentice could no longer find a suitable excuse to hunt Cyclops.

Just as the Witcher apprentice was frowning in thought, the direction of the cave changed again.

"Croak!"

A familiar roar suddenly rang out, and Ailin's eyes lit up.

Following the sound, a blue-skinned, muscular monster was being slowly squeezed out of a black vortex.

It's the Drowners King!

The vortex was almost identical to the one in the Monster Bestiary, wedging itself around the Drowners King's waist and slowly "spitting" the monster out.

"Hiss~"

Looking at the taut portal that was almost embedded in his flesh, Ailin subconsciously touched his abdomen and gasped in shock, feeling a sense of shared experience.

So that's how the Conjunction of the Spheres summons monsters.

No wonder the Drowners King didn't move more than a few steps last time.

The reason he couldn't move wasn't because he didn't want to, but because he had a back injury that prevented him from doing so.

"Roar!"

A furious roar suddenly came from Ailin's left.

The Witcher instinctively dived down, leaving only his nose and above above the water, and turned his head to look in the direction of the sound.

Old Spearhead had somehow managed to stand up from the ground.

Seeing his old home stolen, he angrily slammed the oak tree in his hand onto the ground.

"Bang! Crack—"

The thick tree trunk was snapped in two by the immense force in an instant.

With a wave of his hand, he tossed the broken Old Spearhead tree aside and didn't rush over.

Instead, after looking around, he ran over in a few steps to an unknown tree species that was several times thicker than the previous oak tree.

They grabbed the tree crown with both hands and pulled the tree up by its roots.

After skillfully removing the branches, Old Spearhead nodded humanely, seemingly quite satisfied with the shape of the tree in his hands.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

The ground rumbled, and the familiar vibrations came from the lake shore.

"That's right, that's how it should be! He stole from your house, so hurry up and take him down!"

Ailin watched the enormous figure with some excitement, wielding a thick tree trunk as it charged toward the cave.

At this moment.

The Drowners King had only just been completely squeezed out of the portal.

However, the Witcher apprentice was not worried that the Old Spearhead would kill the Drowners King, who was still in the process of adapting to the Conjunction of the Spheres, with a single blow.

After all, Ailin could sense something from the incomplete identification attributes and the magical aura surrounding him.

The Drowners King is stronger than the Old Spearhead.

And it's much stronger.

"Splash!"

Ailin slowly swam towards the place where Huus and the others had been hiding.

Old Spearhead seemed to have completely forgotten him; his enormous eyes, larger than a Witcher apprentice's head, were bloodshot.

He stared intently at the blue monster loitering in front of his house, seemingly only wanting to rush over and kill the Drowners King with a single blow.

Closer, closer.

The distance between the two monsters was only twenty or thirty meters.

At this moment, the Witcher Apprentice also swam to the cliff wall on the right side of the cave and saw that two huge monsters were about to fight each other. He was so excited that his blood was boiling.

What he was even more excited about was that these two monsters might soon become his experience, his attributes, his items, and his recipes.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

The loud footsteps sounded like a chorus of war drums.

The Old Spearhead swung a tree trunk six or seven meters long, almost as tall as himself, and slammed it down as he approached the Drowners King.

"Brush!"

The howling wind stirred up by the swaying giant trees could be heard very clearly even from a distance.

A loud "bang!"

The red fin on the Drowners King's head was instantly smashed off, and even his bald blue scalp rippled like lake water.

The Drowners King, kneeling on the ground with a pained expression, was suddenly jolted awake by the impact.

His red eyes bulged out as if they were about to pop out.

"Croak!"

With a painful roar, a layer of blue light enveloped the Drowners King's body.

Regardless of any changes in the Drowners King, Old Spearhead went berserk and unleashed a series of furious blows, "Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The Witcher apprentice only saw the blue light membrane on the Drowners King shatter instantly after a few moments.

"Hiss~"

Ailin gasped.

He knew that the Old Spearhead's anger was truly boiling over.

It's understandable if you think about it.

While I was sleeping soundly during winter, the food I ate suddenly and inexplicably disappeared.

Finally, a little creature dressed up came along to satisfy my craving, but it bounced around even more than a water ghost.

Finally, my own house was blocked off again...

"Tsk tsk~"

Even Ailin, a demon hunter apprentice who made a living by hunting monsters, felt sorry for the Old Spearhead.

Of course, such a thought only flashed through my mind.

This Cyclops knew exactly how to kill itself.

Many Witcher apprentices have already died at the hands of the Cyclops, and if he is not eliminated, many more innocent children will die in this future level.

With this thought in mind, Ailin focused his gaze on the berserk Cyclops and the Drowners King, who was beaten so badly he could no longer get up, and activated his skill.

Demon Hunter!
