Night had fallen, and the streetlamps on either side of the road had lit up. Diagon Alley seemed soaked in beer, exuding a pleasantly tipsy comfort.

Vizet walked out of the apothecary and, following the Potioneer's directions, turned into a dim alley.

The lights of Diagon Alley dimmed at once, and the air flowing through the alley was filled with chill and dampness.

The brick walls on either side were crooked and twisted. Speckled fluorescent moss grew across them, emitting a grim green Ghostly Light that made the place feel haunted.

The end of the alley was shrouded in darkness, like the entrance to Hell, giving the impression that anyone who went in would never return.

Even someone with the dullest senses could tell that something was wrong with this alley.

At the end of the alley, Hagrid's roar rang out.

"Let me go! I'm not buying it anymore! Don't touch me!"

An arrogant voice cackled. "What are you talking about? Didn't we agree on everything? We even brought the dog over... You don't want us to butcher it, do you?"

Hagrid roared even louder. "Don't do that! The little darling hasn't even opened its eyes yet! You suddenly raised the price, and I didn't bring that much money! Give me one more day!"

The arrogant voice continued, "Give you another day? This is a hot potato! Let us search you. If you really don't have that much money, I'll sell it to you at the original price!"

Hagrid shouted firmly, "No! I only have that much money on me!"

Vizet understood what had happened. Hagrid had gotten into a conflict with another group.

This was no time to play the hero or watch the fun. Returning to Diagon Alley for help was the right choice.

Just as he was about to head back, a cold voice sounded behind him. "Carrying a brand-new Cauldron? And an Owl?"

"Looks like a New Student..." A Wizard shrouded from head to toe in a Black Robe appeared. He raised his Wand, its tip emitting a ghastly white light. "Kid, what are you doing here?"

Vizet instinctively lowered his head and raised a hand before his face to keep the glare from hurting his eyes.

The Black Robe Wizard continued, "What great luck today. Two fat fish... Come with me!"

Vizet reached into his pocket. Inside was a gift Ollivander had given him—a fist-sized Iron Plate, a defensive Magical Artifact.

Its method of use was remarkably simple. He only needed to rub the Iron Plate three times back and forth to activate the Shield Charm contained within.

Vizet vaguely understood how precious the Iron Plate was. But the situation was urgent, and it seemed he could only rely on this Magical Artifact to escape.

He followed the Black Robe Wizard deeper into the alley and saw a strange scene at its end.

A melody rich with Greek flavor drifted through the air;

Hagrid's tall body leaned against a wall, his fists clenched and his eyes blazing with fury;

Three ragged men stood like hungry wolves. Though they were only as tall as Hagrid's waist, they had surrounded the Giant.

"Vizet... What are you doing here?" Hagrid asked in surprise before roaring again. "How dare you take a child hostage!"

"So you know each other. Then he can only blame his bad luck."

The Black Robe Wizard shoved Vizet and joined the other three, surrounding Vizet and Hagrid.

Vizet was not as agitated as Hagrid. He looked behind the four men, where a massive beast was sprawled out and snoring loudly.

The beast looked like a Hound enlarged countless times. Even lying on the ground asleep, it was already as tall as Vizet.

The strangest thing about the dog was its appearance. It had a full three heads, and whenever it smacked its lips, sticky drool dripped from them.

Three-Headed Dog, a 5X-level Magical creature, native to Greece, fond of sweets, with a size and Magic Resistance comparable to a dragon...

According to the classification in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, 5X was the most dangerous rating. Magical creatures of this class were extraordinarily dangerous and difficult to tame.

Based on what Vizet knew of Hagrid, for Hagrid to call a Magical creature "little darling," immense size and danger were practically essential qualities.

Vizet asked, "Hagrid, you want to buy it?"

Hagrid nodded angrily. "I brought enough money, but they demanded an outrageous price and raised it all the way to six hundred Galleons!"

The Black Robe Wizard said, "One of our brothers was caught bringing this big fellow here, so of course we had to raise the price! He was our closest kin..."

"That doesn't give you the right to break your word!" Hagrid spat, cutting off the Black Robe Wizard.

"Break my word? That's right! I am breaking my word!" The Black Robe Wizard cackled. "Now that another child knows our secret, you'll have to pay even more!"

"Since there's another child here now, go back and get the money! If you don't bring a thousand Galleons tomorrow... the Ghost of this child will be coming to find you!"

"Gah!" Hagrid jumped in fright and hurriedly waved his hands. "You can't do this! You absolutely can't!"

At this point, Vizet could not help rubbing his forehead as he watched the spectacle.

Although Hagrid looked as tall as a Giant, he was incredibly easy for others to manipulate.

A simple threat had thrown him into such a panic that there was no room left for negotiation.

His life in a Welfare institution in his previous life had taught Vizet that he could not back down in situations like this. Backing down would only make evil people push their luck further.

To deal with unreasonable villains like these, he had to make them afraid.

"Cackle, cackle, cackle... Of course we have to do this!" The four men across from him laughed strangely. "You can go home and raise the money. Whether this child survives or not depends entirely on you!"

Vizet cleared his throat. "Gentlemen, none of you even asked for my opinion before making all these decisions on your own?"

"My family is still waiting for me. They'll worry if I return late... So I'm sorry, but I can't spend the night here."

The four men across from him froze for a moment before laughing even more wildly.

"Did I hear that right? Is he threatening us? I'm so scared!"

"A New Student carrying a Cauldron? He probably only bought his Wand today. What can he do? Lumos Solem?"

"Judging by your clothes, you don't look like a child from a wealthy Pure-blood Family... If you were, that would be great. Then we could demand two thousand Galleons!"

Vizet said calmly, "Do you know about an Obscurial? Or do you make a habit of reading the papers?"

The four men across from him were growing impatient. "What Obscurial? Stop wasting time! Big fellow, go get the money!"

"All right..." Vizet sighed. "Hagrid, I remember you brought a copy of The Daily Prophet. Do you still have it?"

"Oh... I do!" Hagrid immediately rummaged through his pockets and pulled out a crumpled newspaper.

Vizet took the newspaper and handed it to the four men across from him. "You can take a look."

Only the Black Robe Wizard unfolded the newspaper. The other three remained on guard.

Before long, the Black Robe Wizard's expression changed from suspicion to surprise.

He raised his Wand. The tip emitted a warm white glow that illuminated Vizet's face.

The Black Robe Wizard's expression shifted rapidly from surprise to fear, and beads of sweat gradually covered his forehead.

"A natural-born Dark Wizard, a walking powder keg, an extremely dangerous criminal." Vizet pointed at himself. "That's me... I'm an Obscurial."

The Black Robe Wizard wiped the sweat from his forehead and shouted with forced composure, "You say you are, so you are? Who knows whether the reporter took the wrong photograph... The article could be completely fabricated too!"

"He's Vizet!" Hagrid said furiously. "He's already been treated coldly by plenty of people today because of this!"

"Perhaps you need some proof?" Vizet smiled and rolled up his sleeve, every movement smooth and fluid...
