Xenophilius Lovegood was coughing, so he did not fully catch what Vizet had said.
Relying almost entirely on the rehearsal he had done in his study, he blurted out the words he had prepared. "Vizet, actually, it doesn't matter if you can't figure it ou..."
Halfway through, he abruptly realized what Vizet had said, and his mind went blank in that instant.
He opened his mouth, but in the end, all that came out was a short, bewildered, "Ah?"
"Mr. Lovegood, thank you for your guidance and concern!" Vizet's tone was heartfelt. "I've already figured it out!"
Xenophilius Lovegood came back to himself, his brows tightly knitted together.
As if trying to confirm something, he deliberately emphasized his words and asked, "You mean... you've already figured it out?"
"Yes!" Vizet nodded. "Mr. Lovegood, don't worry!"
He added with certainty, "I won't make you worry like I did this afternoon again!"
Hearing Vizet say this, Xenophilius Lovegood truly could not understand how Vizet had figured it out when less than an afternoon had passed.
